What could cause pain in left shoulderblade of your back?

A heart attack can cause those symptoms. Assuming that this is not the case it would most likely be a pinched nerve in the neck or mid back or a rotator cuff problem among other things. See you doc.

You have dental pain at the mo can you take ibuprofen with the co codamol and diclofenac im taking for back pain?

No; Ibuprofen and Diclofenac are both NSAIDs (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Because they work in very similar ways and have very similar side effects if you took both you could overdose.

The good news is that both are equally effective for dental pain so if you are used to taking Diclofenac I would stick with that.

To help with your pain there are a couple of other options to look at. Firstly you may be able to increase the strength of your co-codamol. Co-codamol is a single tablet that combines paracetamol with codeine (an opioid The two straights commonly available are 8mg of codeine per 500mg paracetamol (8/500) or 30mg codeine per 500mg paracetamol. If you are currently taking 8/500 your doctor or dentist could prescribe 30/500. Depending on the nature of your dental pain, the dentist or doctor may also prescribe alternative opioid painkillers such as Tramadol. Increasing opioid analgesia such as codeine is usually not terribly effective in dental pain but may offer you some relief

You may also like to discuss local anaesthetic options with your dentist. Diflam, for example, is usually used in sore throats but can be used as a mouthwash to numb you gums. This must be discussed with your dentist first to ensure that it wont make the problem worse.

Sleep is also known to effect perception of pain. So if you've not been sleeping lately (maybe because of your pain) your doctor may be able to prescribe a short course of sleeping tablets. Things are always easier to deal with after a good nights sleep.

There are very few things in life as depressing as dental pain and a low mood also effects perception of pain, so try to keep a positive outlook.

I hope this has given you a few things to discuss with your doctor or dentist.

What is better for back pain tramadol or diazepam?

Depends on what causes your back pain. Tramadol is a painkiller, with little muscle relaxant properties. Diazepam will only relax the back muscles. I would say tramadol is the best for pain. In small doses both med's can also be taken together.

Anything going on in the left side, is always a good reason for concern that where your heart is. If its sharp pain, located front & center in your chest, or takes your breath away, get to a Dr or emergency room & have it checked out.

If the pain is low & in the back just above the belt line, It could be your kidneys. If you drink a lot of tea, coffee or soda & no water, just stop those for a few days & drink only & lots of water for 2 days & see if that flushes the kidneys. That is very common, specially in young people.

On depro vera for years well over 2 now leaky breasts tired nauseas emotional low back pain and food cravings am I pregnant?

UpDated ANSWER- You are not pregnant. You hormones are out of whack. Your body is playing tricks with you because your hormones are so out of whack! and it's even worse if you really want to be pregnant. Trust me I wen through the same thing, it simply is you are not pregnant. Your pituitary gland is out of whack and is causing these symptoms that are mimicking pregnancy symptoms. I went though the exact same thing for over 2months and 4 pregnancy tests all came back negative. If it continues you may need surgery or simply change birth control. Needless to say the doctor's were right I'm not pregnant, and the symptoms will come down and disappear after all little while. Sorry, your simply not pregnant. If it continues you will need a bran scan just ask your OBGYN, it will need to get fixed. You know I've been on it for a little over a year and I'm going through the same thing, can't find much information on it though. I've taken 9 pregnancy tests in the last 5-6wks, all negative and the unprotected sex was 2 months ago and I believe by 8 weeks all test should be positive, so I don't think I am. My period just stopped a couple of months ago, I've experienced galacctorrhea, nausea((everyday all day)), I was tired for a while but it stopped, sore breasts, and back pain. I had heartburn//constipation//leg cramps but all went away within 2 days. I think it has to do with your period stopping. My doctor said it must be a bug but I've been nauscious forever!!! I want to know how long these side effects last, especially the nausea and breast problem.

How does Bilobed disc protrusion resulting in moderate central canal stenosis and moderate bilateral neural femoral stenososis and moderate cord deformity at C5-6 effect you?

You are obviously talking about MRI or CT findings probably described in a radiologists report. ?Essentially these are findings describing what is seen on these pictures of your cervical spine (neck). ?Moderate here simply means that what they are talking about is not mild, but it is not severe. ?The central canal here is the space that the spinal cord is in. ?A neural foramen is the hole that the nerve root comes out of, in this case the C6 nerve root. ?Stenosis simply means narrowing of a canal or foramen (hole). ?C5-C6 is the level in the spine that is affected.

The answer is that it may mean something significant, or it may mean nothing at all. ?Imaging findings do not always correlate with the clinical findings, i.e. problems that are seen on an MRI do not mean the patient is having symptoms or pain. ?If the neural foramen are stenotic at C5-6, then you might experience weakness in arm flexion, supination at the wrist may be weak, extension of the wrist may be weak, and problems with sensation may be seen in the thumb, index finger, and ring finger. ?If the cervical spinal cord is affected this may cause problems in your legs as well in bowel, bladder, or sexual function. ?Keep in mind that just because an MRI says that you have these things, it doesn't automatically mean you will have these symptoms. ??

Lower back pain headaches feeling tired and sick if I don't eat on time?

I suspect that you suffer from low blood sugar, also known as hypoglycemia. If you do not want to get a diagnosis from a doctor, you could try changing your diet. Cut out sugar (sugar causes extreme fluctuations in blood sugar level) and increase protein. (Also look up hypoglycemia on google and learn more about it.) If changing your diet doesn't help, you probably should consult a doctor.

Why do you get back pain after sitting and not after being on your feet all day clicking sounds in lower back?

It almost sounds as if the chair you are sitting in is not allowing proper alignment of the spine... This would put stress on the muscle & ligaments in the lower back, resulting in pain... (like what happens when you bend over too long doing something...) Sorry, I'm hard-pressed to tell you what might be making the clicking sound...

Why do i have Pellet like stools pain in abdomen blood in stool back pain tiredness fatigue and a lot of weight loss i am male 31 6.2 tall 10 stone down from 12?

I would be concerned and advise you to contact your doctor without delay. Weight lossthat is not caused by an altered diet or by an increase in exercise is known as a "red flag". It may indicate a serious problem and that needs to be out ruled. Your doctor will likely do a series of blood tests to check for anaemia and absorption in your gut. Additionally a colonoscopy will need to be done to out rule any serious pathology. Weight loss may simply be due to IBS but best get it checked out without delay! Blood in stools may also be caused by hemorrhoids but also best get it checked out because other disorders may cause this too.

How do you get rid of lower back pain without going to a physician?

Whenever I get lower backpain, I do this, and it gives me relief from pain. Roll up a telephone book and tape it, to produce a strong cylinder. Lie on the floor and lift your bottom up and push the cylinder under and then lower yourself, so that the cylinder is supporting your bottom, hold this position for 2 mins, lift up you bottom and remove cylinder, lower yourself to the floor and sit up and touch your toes, repeat this about 6 times, moving the cylinder a few inches up your lower spine towards your head each time, until you reach your waist. This does hurt while you are doing it, but persevere and the pain in back should disappear.
