How do you glue the leather toe capps an your pointe shoes?
When I had leather toe caps on my pointe shoes, (I prefer to have the toes darned though) my dad used Ados F2 glue. The caps were cut to shape, and then stuck on. Make sure that the toe caps are the right size and shape for the toe of the shoe, because if they are to big and go over the sides onto the front of the block, it can look like you aren't en pointe properly.
I hope that this helps

The average weight for an adult ballerina is around 120 pounds but different ballerinas' weights can vary as they can play different parts in ballet. The average weight for a young ballerina is around 80 pounds. However fat ballerinas are commonly not accepted into schools like Ballet South, so to be a ballerina you have to be very thin and quick, although it is possible for medium-weight girls to be talented ballerinas. What is the name for the ballet shoes?
The soft shoes are known as ballet slippers.
The hard shoes that enable you to rise onto your toes are called pointe shoes.
yes point ballet is dangerous cause if you do something wrong in point shoes you can break you ankle !!!!!!!!!!!!
Dancing en pointe can be dangerous if you try without the sufficient training. You usually start dancing en pointe after about 5 or 6 years of ballet training (this depends on how many lessons you have per week), and you must be 11 years old or older. When you are under 11 your bones are still growing and you could permanantly damage them. Your pointe shoes need to be carefully fitted, and you must be taught to tie the ribbons correctly, and sew on new ribbons. Your ballet teacher will carefully and slowly teach you to dance on your toes, and you must follow her instructions perfectly. At first you will probably only be allowed to dance en pointe under her careful supervision. If you follow instructions, and don't take risks you will be fine.
It is said though that ballet dancers sometimes have problems with their feet (especially ankles and toes) later in life.
