Why do Baptists believe Catholics are going to hell?
Not all Baptists believe that.
Most mainstream churches that are Christian, including the Baptists and the Catholics, like to believe that their way is best. However, they also - in general - acknowledge that Jesus Christ died for all mankind, and that God is not going to damn someone for a sincere effort at worshipping him.
The tolerance of American churches for those of other denominations comes from this verse:
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." - Romans 10:13
How much money does it cost to get married in a baptist church?
Depends on the church and the pastor of the church. I pastor a church and don't charge anything for our members to get married. However, I do expect them to tithe as the Bible asks them to. I don't perfrom a marriage ceremonies for non-members except for special circumstances. I still don't charge anything.
Why do men and women sit separately in a baptist church?
I have not seen this done in many, many years and I'm an old dude. Seperate seating was common in many churches, not just Baptist, in the 17th and 18th Centuries. It was common in places in the US maybe as late as the 1940's. This practise was intended to keep the worship pure. They felt that intermixing the sexes would be distracting to worship and cause some to sin by looking on a woman.
Are there Black southern Baptists?
of course! I'm one of them. If you mean Christian Baptists that are African American and live in the south of the U.S. yes i also am another!!!! Sure there are. There is no reason why a black person cannot be a Southern Baptist. A lot of black people may choose not to be a part of a Southern Baptist church but there is no reason they could not. Often it is a chosen segregation. It's not too common to see a church that has a lot of racial diversity in it. Simply put, yes there are and there is no reason why there can't be.

Why is it so difficult to date a Middle Eastern man when you are an American woman?
They come from a completely different culture where women outside of their immediate family are not accessible. If a woman comes over to visit the family, it is only with the women of the family. If her father brings her, he will visit only with the men. I knew several American women who had married Saudi Arabian men and they eventually lived over there. Life was very different for them, and difficult, depending on the man's family and how they treated women. There was limited independence.
How do you introduce your pastor?
I introduce to you Reverend Dr. John Doe, pastor emeritus of Couch Baptist Church.
Do Baptist believe in Excommunication?
Being a member of a church is not necessary for salvation in baptist doctrine. Therefore, a congregation can not "excommunicate" a member from his relationship with God. A church congregation is a group that tries to foster the beliefs and behaviors of a first century church and in rare cases a person could lose his membership in a church. This only means that voting in business meetings, being on committees, and serving as a teacher in the church would be limited. Three hundred years ago there was also a "shunning" when the church was a central part of a community.
Again, let me emphasize that this doesn't break the bond between a believer and his God nor does it prevent a believer from worshiping.
Can a Master of Divinity degree be attained in 6 months at Virginia Triumphant College Seminary?

Why do Baptist believe that they are the bride of Christ?
In general, baptists believe that anyone that believes and accepts Jesus as his personal Savior is the bride of Christ. The term comes from the explanation of the relationship of a man for his family. A husband will lay down his life for his wife and family just as Jesus laid down his life for all of mankind. A husband will provide for his wife and family and wants the best for them all.
I am not a baptist but i do believe that we are the 'bride' of God. The Bible says that God is married to the church and the church is a gathering of people who believe in God. So in a way we are married to God. The Bible also says that a man and his wife are one. This means that we are one with God. It says that a man is no greater than his Lord, but it also says that the least shall be the greatest and the greatest shall be the least in God. Which means that in God (believing in God) we are greater than God. But again it says that we are one with God. My conclusion is that you can believe in either one for this is your choice.
What are the differences among Bapists Methodists and Catholics?
Catholics do not believe in birth control. Most of them are against abortion as well. I am baptist and i am also against abortion, but it just depends on the person.
.
The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in the first century to bring God to the people and the people to God. The Protestant "churches" were founded by individuals sixteenth centuries after Christ according to their own personal beliefs.
.
Catholics believe that God the Son became incarnate in a human body through the Holy Spirit and the Blessed Virgin Mary to save mankind from their sins. He established His Church and appointed Apostles (Bishops) and Peter (Pope) to guide that Church on earth and He guaranteed to be with It until the end of time. Catholics believe that you only have one choice in life: to love and serve the Lord, or to reject Him and be separated from Him forever in Hell. Every other choice you have in life comes down to that, is this following Jesus or rejecting Him.
.
Protestants reject Christ because they reject His Body: the Church. They believe that they are their own little Pope and that they can decide how to follow Jesus themselves. Thus they fragment into many "denominations" as they decide how they want to follow God, ignoring what He, Himself has said, and interpreting for themselves what is right or wrong. Thus they believe that they have more choices than following God or not, they believe that they have the choice to decide HOW they are going to follow God. Baptists and Methodists are just two of the more than 40,000 different denominations that protestants have fragmented into.

You want to go to a church that is based off the Bible!

Why don't Baptists follow the pope?
I'm pretty sure the Pope is the leader of the Catholic Church.
Even though Protestants in general don't follow him, he's still revered by (most) Christians in general.
What if Catholic Godparent changes to Baptist?

Does the Church of God believe that you can lose your salvation?
Yes the Church of God does believe that a person can lose their salvation if they turn back to the ways of this world. The Bible says that a man taking hold of the plow if he looks back is not fit. The good news is if we fall we have an advocate with the Father who is Jesus Christ and if we will ask for forgiveness and truly mean it God will forgive us and restore us.

While Baptist churches emphasize congregational autonomy and democratic governance, the pastor typically plays a crucial role in decision-making and ministry leadership, reflecting their responsibility for the church's spiritual health.
What is origin of Hanging of the Greens Christian worship Service?
This is a very difficult question to answer. As far as the origin of the service, I do not know. However, the different parts that make up the Hanging of the Greens (or the HOG as we call it at our church), come from the traditions of many different countries, mostly from Europe. It would be best to research the individual parts of the service, such as the use of evergreens, the holy and ivy, the wreath, and the Christmons.
