I am not sure Baptist's are fully operating in the gifts of the Spirit one being to cast out demons. I am sure there are some that can and have... but there need to be more. We are given ample scripture proving that those who are strong born again believers, knowing God's Word (our spiritual sword)... we as believers have the power to cast out demons. "And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;" Mark 16:17

* Be sure you are saved asking Jesus into your heart... sincerely asking God to forgive you of all your sins. Read the Word. Worship God. Pray. Walk by faith and not by site. Live Holy through the unctions of the Holy Spirit now residing in you and leading you... if you are truly saved!

* Do not carry on a conversation with any devil. You simple command it to leave by the authority of Jesus Christ. "I command you to go every evil spirit in ________ (their name). Get out. In Jesus authority he has given to me as a believer I cast you out... every demon, every spirit of sickness ... in Jesus authority I break every curse off of ________. Get out... you no longer have any authority over ________.

*Don't get upset or have fear... just cast those pesky demons and curses out... by the authority of Jesus.

*Most important... make sure the recently freed person receives Christ as their Lord and Savior and is truly filled with the Holy Spirit.

*Always have a professional born again believer who is experienced in excercism to this. One must be filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit.

*Read good articles about excercism. If there is no one else that can do this... MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED! You will instinctively know if you are... the Holy Spirit will tell you.... and you will know when you are ready. Always have another STRONG born again Christian with you to help. Try NOT to do this alone... although it is possible... but you would have to be REALLY strong in the Spirit.

No. The Lutheran church believes that Holy Communion is Christ's body and blood by Real Presence. RP is usually described as "in, with, and under". To overly simplify it: we're not sure how it works, but we're taking it on faith. Roman Catholics believe that the wafer/ unleavened bread miraculously becomes- physically and figuratively- the body and blood of Christ. This is a fundamental difference of philosophy, so they would probably not let you.

Of course, this depends on the church itself. They would probably quote 2 Timothy (I think) and the curse that befalls anyone who takes Communion/ Eucharist in an unholy fashion.

However, Baptists have views on many different things, so if you'll be more specific, I can probably answer you question.

The answer to this question is no. Although LBTS has a 93 hour MDiv, because it is not ATS accredited, all of the ATS schools I have called today say they will not accept any credits from LBTS. The exception might be SBC schools, from which I have not heard back.

I think that if the woman is commited to the man and loves him should be aloud to date a non adventist. Because they could work out the church scedules. If they loved each other then they could go on dates on Sundays and if they get married then they could work out a scedule where the woman or vice versa goes to church and the man stays at home or vice versa then they might meet up for lunch or do something special afterwards. But if the man is trying to change the woman's faith then really, its not worth it!

I'm going to guess due to the fact of our beliefs (I'm a Baptist). Jewish people have been on the ride of hate for a long time, especially by most Christians. A Catholic would say you need to join the Catholic Church and be baptized, and an Eastern Orthodox would say the same thing for themselves. Buddhist vows assert that there is no salvation in anyone but the Buddha. Other religions claimed that you'd have to be reincarnated as a member of their religion before you could have a shot at permanent salvation. It's just what the person believes. If the person believed that eating blackberries will keep you from getting colon cancer, and told you to eat more blackberries, would you think he "hates you" just because you might not like blackberries? It's called freedom of speech. Deal with it.

An estimate I saw about a year ago was 3.7 million Christian congregations. I believe there are around 67,000 denominations. There are close to 50,000 new congregations being added each year. I don't know how many are closing each year so I don't know if its net 50000 per year or not. Not much of this growth is in the US or Europe, but in South America, Africa and Asia.
