Wrightsville Beach is in New Hanover County, North Carolina (which is in the southeast part of the state).

Wrightsville beach is the one of the best places to go for a vacation but i would not reccommend you to go there in the winter it is very chilly and you probably want to go to the beach if you go there so go in the summer and i would go to Trolly Stop hot dogs shop location near the beach it has a very amazing taste and flavor making the locals want to go and the tourists.It is located near Morehead and it is located near Wilmington, NC a wonderfull place to go to full of shops and places but i wouldn't reccommend downtown with alot of wonderfull shops but are full of gangs and the bloods and the cripts please do not go downtown and accidently run into a gang region because you will get shot or stabed continuosly with no reson.

I would have to say that you would have to be walking at a good pace to do this in 1 hour, as I had done this walk yesterday (2/6/11) with 3 children + plus the dreaded pushchair which half way down was a mission!

We walked all the way there and back (stayed in Skegness for a while) 2hrs is was the time we got there in which isn't that bad considering our 3 yr old walked all the way!!!

On the way back we walked the rd way (Not quite the same route as we went besides the golf club) and our 3yr old was in pushchair so wasn't as slow this took us 1hr 20 Min's which was a good pace.

So depending on your pace you could do it quicker or slower if you have children in tow, but is a nice walk for anyone.

Kinda-sorta, but not quite. The beach is the (sandy) strip closest to the waters edge, but the seaside extends further inland. If you lived 1-2 blocks away from the water, you wouldn't be living on the beach any more, but you'd still be at the seaside.

They don't close down the boardwalk based on weather. They will shut down certain rides though. They are seasonal for the most part, but you can always walk the boardwalk.

Cocoa Beach in Florida? No I don't find it too beautiful but, that's just my personal option. I've been to Cocoa quite a few times (dad's business trips) and there isn't much to do in either Cocoa or Cocoa Beach.

So to cut to the chase there are nicer beaches in Florida.
