Hello - Because the test was positive then this does mean you are pregnant. You need to stop taking birth control and see your doctor at the next available appointment for confirmation. Yes it does mean that you are pregnant and the fact that you were on a generic brand of birth control does not mean that it is any less or more effective then the name brand the negative test was probably because you had just conceived and it took a few weeks to show positive stop taking your birth control pills IMMEDIATELY and make an appoinment with your doctor for a blood test the earlier you get confirmation the better prenatal care you and your unborn child can receive to ensure that you have the healthiest and happiest pregnancy possible Good luck and God Bless!!!

You do not have to, but you will likely get your period right away - even if it has not been a month since your last period. If you wait until the end of the pack, your schedule will stay approximately the same. If you are experiencing side effects which you feel may be dangerous (severe headache, stomachache, or eye problems, major pin point leg pain or trouble breathing), stop right away. If you are considering stopping because you are unhappy with this brand and want to switch or want to become pregnant, consider talking to your doctor about your plans before you stop. It may be easier to transition to a new pill if you stay on this one for the rest of the pack, and if you are considering becoming pregnant, your doctor may recommend that you "prepare" for a month or two before you try for a baby (such as take folate, make sure you are eating healthier/exercising, getting off any other medications that may not be good for a pregnancy). If you're using the combination pill then you don't get a period, instead you experience a withdrawal bleed as a result of a drop in synthetic hormones when going from your active to inactive pills. If you skipped your last withdrawal bleed this doesn't effect your next withdrawal bleed, you will get it as normal during your next placebo week.

Well, I had my copper IUD out three days ago. I have had it for 6 or 7 years and absolutely LOVE IT! With the exception that I am one of the like 5% that got an infection from having the IUD. There were NO symptoms to this infection and it showed up in a routine pap. Anyway, that is why I had to have my IUD taken out. Now to answer your question , at least in my case, all they used were what I believe they call hemastats??? not sure. any way they are like a very thin needle nose plier. Everyone told me this wouldn't hurt. Dont get me wrong it did not hurt BAD. but it did feel rather uncomforitable when they took it out. maybe it was because of the infection that I had. They had no problem pulling it out. Maybe they would have used more tools if they had a problem.

I beliive there is a method where the sperm can be taken prom the testes above the vasectomy and then you have artificial insemination. He would need to see a urologist.

I've been prescribed a progesterine only (the mini-pill) by my gyno. It's harder to follow than the normal combo pill, but it works if taken PERFECTLY. Then again, I'm only slightly deficient...and with that pill I am on a baby aspirin regimen as well, so ask your gyno. Good luck!

You are supposed to be able to feel two strings when checking for them. If you do not feel them the IUD might have came out or the string have receded into your uterus
