There are many different types. There's the pill, which you take orally. There's the implant which is a little flexible rod under your skin in your arm, there are male and female condoms, the deppo injection in the muscle on your bottom, the coil which is a device implanted into the neck of your womb and there is the morning after pill which is emergency contraception incase something "doesn't go to plan!"
