not necessarily. I think to have an active and trustworthy blog you have to have a range of positive and negative comments, infact I think it's essential, because this reflects on you, and allowing negatvie comments looks good on you.

However, if there is any negative comments that attack you personally, the comment has any swearing, or inappropriate language then I would either edit the comment or delete it totally.
