Then when you look for a pup you will actually know what to look for. Find a recommended breeder who breeds to better the breed and checks for genetic faults in the parents before being bred. Check out the temperament and conformation at 8 weeks of age. There is a standard temperament test you can follow. If the breeder is honest he or she will tell you what each pup is like but I still like to do my own temperament tests to see is any shyness, aggressiveness, etc.
