Actually yes, it does very much, I have a border terrier, his hair gets everywhere, you have to strip them at least 3 or 4 times a month.
Mine has done that occasionally. It is usually solved by give him/her some water.
I don't know the exact chances but you are not they only one. Mine is called a blue tan on his passport.
That's a very interesting question which I have often pondered myself! If you get it too hot it breaks down and gives of HFl (hydrofluoric acid) which is incredibly toxic. So I guess it's safe so long as you don't get it too hot! I'll be watching this question to see what other people think. Come on peeps - tell us what you think!
Hi Been moving interstate! Will have some up in the next day or two on e-bay. If you can't wait have a look at www.bearycheap.com they have all of Lisa's patterns.

Well jamiegirl, you need to do a little more research, because they can. Even though it does not happen often, it does happen. The same as most Border Terriers have slick wiry coats, you can get them with long coats as well, with a curl tail that has long hair on it. If you are unaware of this, you may want to check out an upstanding breeder in Montana that has a beautiful little guy. It is Big Sky Border Terriers. Like I said, it does not happen often, but it does happen.
I almost got mine for 900 Euros in Austria but I checked one out in the Czech Republic and got it for 300.
