They were not happy campers. It had been a rough day. First, they landed in water so their boots got wet and as they marched they got blisters. Next, they had on wool red uniforms. The weather was a hot day so the wool was uncomfortable and the red color made them targets. They were also getting shot at from behind trees and fences. This, they considered to be wrong because an army would line up and shoot at each other. The colonial men hiding was considered to be bad behavior. The soliders also saw men they knew wounded and dead. By the time they arrived that late afternoon in Boston they were in terrible shape.

Eleven people were hit during the Boston Massacre. Ropemaker Samuel Gray, mariner James Caldwell, and a mixed race sailor named Crispus Attucks were killed instantly. Seventeen-year-old Samuel Maverick, died in the early morning of the next day, whilst thirty-year-old Irish immigrant Patrick Carr died two weeks later.

Crispus Attucks was the first person killed at the Boston Massacre. He is also said to be the first death of the American Revolution.

This created more tension between Britain bitches and the American colonies. Also, it created more revolts and protests. This is when Paul Revere started the Propaganda against the British.

I would have to say the fact that they killed 5 Bostonias would get the colonists pretty pissed off.

The captain of the soldiers denied giving that order and there was some evidence that it might have come from the colonists. Samuel Adams made the most of the incident by calling it the Boston Massacre, and the name stuck because it motivated the colonists, who were already feeling oppressed by the British. Also, one of the people killed was a free black man, Crispus Attucks.
