Revenge will only cause more problems, as the person you take revenge upon will only try to get back at you. That can be an ugly situation that cannot possibly have a good outcome.

There is no "way to know if you're supposed to be with someone." If this person is just the most wonderful person in the world and you can't live without them, then give them time. Bottom line you have to ask yourself, do they not want to be in a relationship, or do they not want to be in a relationship with you?
