Thanks to many dedicated hobbyists the breed was brought back from the brink and selectively bred into the docile easy-going dog you see today. My dog will get an occasional peice of meat, at a time when my family is not eating at a table (when you are eating, it is not Fido's turn to eat - your life will be easier if s/he knows that and is not staring with big, liquidy, brown eyes as if s/he is starving) and it is always a reward for a perfectly performed trick or command.

You wean all breeds at about the same time, doesn't matter if the pup is an American Bulldog.
You should start introducing a soft mix of Esbilac or canned milk, diluted 1 part canned milk to 1 part water, to some human baby food rice at around the age of 3 weeks. Make it more on the liquid side so they can lap it up or just make a huge mess and then lap it off of their litter mates :0). Slowly take out the rice and add soaked puppy food that is absolutely soft with the diluted canned milk (evaporated milk, not cow's milk). You can also use Goats milk diluted the same but is a tad richer and can cause diarrhea. If you see diarrhea, then add some rice to it, the human baby food dry rice in a box kind. AT about age 4-4 1/2 weeks, just offer them the soaked puppy food and some dry puppy food, they will love to crunch on it. They should also be allowed to nurse off of their Mother. They should be totally weaned at 5-6 weeks of age but still allowed to interact with their Mom.
Be sure to use a good name brand puppy food, such as Natural Choice, etc. Don't use some generic version.

Do American bulldogs have webfeet?
Yes they do my 3 month old puppy has webbed feet and he is a Johnson type Scot t type mix. the Johnson seem to be more stalky and flat faced when the Scott type are taller longer snouted and more athletic. The magority of them love the water and if you want one that will almost certain will like the water get a scott or old sothern type. Hope i helped :)
