What can you do to portray a perception of movement in your photography?
Having a slow shutter speed will show motion. The shutter speed needed will vary from subject to subject so use trial and error to find the shot right for you. A shutter speed of 1/2 (a shot lasting a half a second) is a good starting point.
What is the best compact digital camera?
In my opinion, best cameras are those with 4K ultra HD feature, waterproof, Wi-Fi action, 5-star rating, electronic image stabilization, and with anti-shake property as of Campark's cams. For more infor, please click here: Subathrabiju @ gmail com

Is there a photography capital of the world?
Probably not. Photography is so important to modern communications media that it is of importance everywhere. If you were to try to name a capital of any sort, Rochester, NY might be high on the list as home of Eastman Kodak, which has been over the long term the most influential organization in the world in the development of photographic technologies. But trying to pin down any one "capital" would be a hazardous enterprise.
Was there ever an actual photograph taken of George Washington?
No. The camera wasn't invented until 1830 and Washington died years before. We only have paintings.
What does a flash on a camera do?
Old flash bulbs contained a lot of jumbled tungsten, zirconium or aluminum wire housed in an oxygen atmosphere that was rapidly burnt when the shutter was clicked. Early amateur cameras supplied the current by battery. Later, simple point and shoot cameras like the Kodak Instamatic used something other than a battery (probably a piezoelectric device like a barbecue starter, but I'm just guessing). The bulbs were blue coated to balance the light for color film, and some contained a blue dot to indicate the oxygen had not leaked out and been replaced by air. If an air contaminated bulb was used, it usually exploded.
Some cave photographers prefer the flash bulb to an electronic strobe, claiming the quantity of light output is superior. However, bulbs are getting harder to find.

What is the purpose of photography?
Photography is a form of art. It can be used to show facts, as seen in press photography.
It can be used therapeutically, as a form of expression. However, photography is most commonly used to keep fond memories of great times. A picture captures a thousand words.
How do you edit digital camera video?
Some cameras own the capability to edit videos in them, especially some DVD camcorders. If you are not saticfied with the effects, or it doesn't work on your camera, you can import them to computer and then edit them.
You have 2 ways:
1. Import camcorder/camera videos to computer and convert them to common formats ,like avi, wmv, etc.
2. Use a powerful editor, ShowBiz, to import them as original formats, then edit them and output them freely, with whatever formats, wherever you want.
Where was the inventor of the camera born?
Depends on which camera you are asking about. The camera obscura was known in the 1400s or before, it is not known who first had the idea. If you believe some people, Leonardo da Vinci invented photography to fake the Turin Shroud. People such as Wegewood and Herschel were trying to take and fix photographs in the late 1700s/early1800s but could not achieve the 'fix' part.
The first recorded successful photograph was taken by Niecephore Niepce in France in 1822 or 1826 (according to which account you believe) - I'm sorry, I do not know when he died.
Later various people created various types of camera such as the SLR, the Hand-or-Stand, the precision 35mm camera, the digital camera, and so on. So it's a hard question to define clearly.
Disadvantages of a 35mm camera?
35mm is quickly going the way of the dinosaur. Everything 35mm can do, digital can probably do better (or, just as well) and more importantly ... more conveniently.
* 35mm film can get dusty and scratched, ruining your images.
* 35mm film is sensitive to temperature ... too hot or too cold can ruin your images.
* It's easy to accidently expose your film to the light, ruining all of your images.
* You have to buy rolls of film!
* You have to pay someone to develop your film, or do it yourself (pain!).
How did Joseph Nicephore Niece invent the camera?
The world's earliest known image created exclusively by the action of light was Joseph-Nicéphore Niepce's 1827 photograph of a tree, barn and building. Known as "The View from the Window at La Gras", the image was captured using a Camera Obscura, a device generally credited to Ibn al-Haytham (965-1039 AD). To create the photograph, Niepce focused an inverted image onto a light-sensitized pewter plate coated with a type of asphalt known as Bitumen of Judea. According to some estimates, this photograph required something between several hours and several days to expose.
To freeze the action of the subject what shutter speed should be used?
Depends. Are you photographing a moving snail or rotating airplane propeller?
The threshold for hand held shots is 1/60 with image stabilization maybe around 1/40 but if you're subject is moving too fast then you would get motion blur. In order to freeze motion you must have shutter speeds of 1/100 or higher. Taking photographs is really trial and error. You can build upon you're basic knowledge of shutter speed, apperture, ISO etc. and improve you're skills by taking lots of pictures but be sure to enjoy it.
Who is the inventor of photography?
Joseph Niepce (nee-yeps), a Frenchman, made the first permanent photographic image, which he called a "heliograph" (sun writing), onto a pewter plate in 1826. The negative image was inked and transferred to paper as a positive. Another Frenchman, Louis Daguerre (dah-gehr), partnered with Niepce from 1829 until Niepce's death in 1833. Also using a metal plate, but an entirely different process, including light-sensitive silver iodide and mercury fumes, Daguerre produced an extremely finely detailed "Daguerreotype" in 1837. In 1839, Englishman William Henry Fox Talbot used sensitized paper to create a negative image from which he produced any number of positives. He called his invention "photogenic drawing" which was the first negative/positive process. Sir John Herschel improved upon Talbot's process with his discovery of sodium thiosulfate as an image fixative, and he created some of the terminology still used today, including the words "photograph" and "photography."

Can you use a digital camera on an airplane?
You can take a camera in your carry-on luggage, but I can't take a camera in your carry-on luggage because I don't have your carry-on luggage. I would suggest that if you DO want to put your camera in your carry-on luggage, do NOT have any film in the camera, NOR in your carry-on, as the bag will go through X-ray and ruin the film. Pack ALL film in your CHECKED luggage. THOSE bags do not go through the same X-ray.
What is the definition of the word camera?
From New Latin camera obscura ("dark chamber"), because the first cameras used a pinhole and a dark room; from Latin camera ("chamber or bedchamber"), from Ancient Greek καμάρα (kamara, "anything with an arched cover, a covered carriage or boat, a vaulted chamber, a vault").
Scientists in the medieval Middle East, such as Al-Haitham, made significant advances in optics by experimenting with pinhole cameras, adopting the Latin/Greek word into Arabic (AL QAMRA- القمرة) and further analyzing this phenomenon.
camera
1708, "vaulted building," from L. camera "vaulted room" (cf. It. camera, Sp. camara, Fr. chambre), from Gk. kamara "vaulted chamber," from PIE base *kam- "to arch." Who is laying on the ground when the camera is knocked over at the end of the Blair Witch Project?
The floor. No one was holding it at the end, the camera was dropped on the floor.
The real answer you looking for is that its up to the viewer to decide. It could be the witch (it is NOT the woman as you can hear shes not holding the camera or you would hear her screaming much louder. It could be Mike who did this all just to kill them or it could be the witch controlling them all. It's just a movie and the joy is in what you take away from it and your own opinions.
