Is revolution always justifiable in means of global peace and security?

The only rule that I have is to always be skeptical of questions that ask if something is always the case (as hypocritical as that rule is facially). I am further troubled by the use of the word "revolution" which can refer to a variety of very distinct activities, some peaceful and beneficial and others violent and destructive.

I would say that peaceful avocation of global peace and security, human rights and communal dignity is almost always justifiable. When it starts becoming more violent, I find it far less justifiable and its justifiability usually has an indirect relationship with the level of violence.

Why does capitalism have business cycles?

Capitalism experiences business cycles due to fluctuations in economic activity driven by factors like consumer demand, investment levels, and external shocks. These cycles typically consist of periods of expansion, where economic activity and employment rise, followed by contractions or recessions, marked by reduced spending and increased unemployment. Additionally, changes in monetary policy, technological advancements, and market speculation can amplify these cycles. Overall, the dynamic nature of supply and demand, along with human behavior, contributes to the inherent instability of capitalist economies.

How does Marx link alienation to capitalism?

Marx argues that the change from individual, private manufacture to industrial manufacture in 19th century capitalism changed the relationship between workers and the products they created. In a case where manufacture is individual and private, the worker is part of all of the processes that change raw materials into finished goods. The goods are a reflection of him and his contributions and when those goods are used, he knows what his place is in society and how he has helped people. In industrial manufacture, the worker performs one task repeatedly and never sees the raw material, finished good, or how people are using his contribution. This separates him meaningfully from the rest of society and this separation is what Marx terms as "alienation."

Was John Locke a capitalist or a socialist?

Capitalism is unfair?

Capitalism is a system driven by private ownership of means of production. This leads to a system in which an entire nation's populace is driven by the desire to make profits and accumulate wealth. A true capitalist system is a free market economy with NO interference from any governing body.

Many people view this system as unfair because, once a bit of wealth is accumulated or inherited, it becomes easier to accumulate more wealth. However, it is exceptionally rare and nearly impossible for someone who has very little wealth to accumulate any, hence the saying "you need money to make money". This leads to the concentration of most of a nation's wealth among a tiny percentage of the population, with the vast majority of a nation's population sharing the rest.

Without some form of interference from the government or the formation of powerful worker's unions, capitalism inevitably leads to the concentration of power among the few, and the exploitation of the many.

This is why a capitalist economic system can be seen as "unfair".

What characteristics must a society have in order for capitalism to be possible?

Capitalism is an economic system in which the means of production are privately owned; supply, demand and price are mostly set by market forces rather than economic planning; and profit is distributed to owners who invest in businesses.

Why reject capitalism for socialism?

While the G20 summit in London aims to continue the hegemony and oppression of Capitalism, Hizb ut-Tahrir convenes two press conferences on Friday to save the world from Capitalism and its crises

Since 1999, G20 summits have taken place and formulated financial plans for the world - plans that brought crises and calamities to human beings and the world. They claim that through these summits they will save the world even thought it is inconceivable that the wolf would save its own prey! The leaders of the G20 will meet in London, the spiritual capital of Capitalism and its corporations, on Thursday 2nd April 2009. Instead of formulating a plan to rescue the world from the financial cirsis, they only devise solutions that aim to increase the wealth of the rich capitalists even if that further impoverishs the poor.

Meanwhile, Hizb ut-Tahrir, the global Islamic political party, has convened two emergency press conferences in Beirut and London on Friday 3rd April 2009, a day after the London G20 summit. At both press conferences, Hizb ut-Tahrir will launch its new book "Towards a Tranquil Safe World under the Shade of the Economic System of Islam". The book examines the global economic crisis, explains its reality, critically examines its symptoms and exposes the flaws in the solutions proposed by the flagbearers of Capitalism. The book concludes by illustrating the correct solutions to the economic crisis from Islam - solutions that are from the Creator of the universe and the Creator of mankind, who knows what is best for His creation.

(أَلا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ).

"Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves) All-Aware (of everything)." [TMQ Al-Mulk: 67]

At the press conferences, there will be speeches in Arabic and English outlining Hizb ut-Tahrir's solutions to the economic crisis and its response to the London G20 summit. There will be an opportunity for open discussion and debate and both press conferences will be broadcast live on the Internet.

The press conferences will take place in Beirut and London on Friday 8th Rabi` al-Akhar 1430 Hijri / 3rd April 2009
