Usually at about two weeks baby mice will start to eat a few solid foods, things that are easy to digest. But they still drink milk from their mother for another week or two. i find that mice do better if the mother has help( nanny) caring for her young. so basically the pregnant mom should NOT have to build the nest on her own so purchase another female mouse( the nanny) to help care for the babies. make sure the nanny and mom to be get along. and thats about all you do but heres what the mice will do nanny will make a nest. mom will have the babies. mom will feed the babies milk. nanny and mom will retrieve run away babies by grabbing them by loose skin 'even if the babies squeak DO NOT interfere. mom and nanny will groom the babies. the babies will grow up. now heres the disturbing part any BOY babies remaining in moms cage through adulthood will ( given the opportunity will MATE with mom, nanny and every sister they have! i breed mice so all the listed information are my observations!

If your mouse is pregnant then the male mice should not be attempting to mate with it. Other than that, keep an eye on her. She could start making a nest out of shredded paper etc (and it is a nice idea to give her some paper or soft material to make her bed out of). After a while she will start getting plump in the middle. TRULY the middle, not just the tummy. She will look like she swallowed a marshmallow eventually. P.S. Mice pregnancy goes really fast. Baby mice do not lose there fur. They are actually born without it. A healthy baby should be naked and pink. When they reach seven days old then their colored fuzz appears and as the grow so does their fur until they reach adulthood.

Yes, you definitely can put paper shreds in a bunny cage. My rabbit uses paper and there is no side effects. Not all papers are safe, though, because some papers are covered in chemicals that are not good for rabbits (or anyone!) to ingest. Paper is a lot of fun for rabbits to play with and tear up, so look for plain paper products and you should be fine: like newsprint or plain cardboard, with no glossy parts, no staples or tape, no stickers or labels, and not much colours/printing. Don't shred the paper first, though: let the rabbit shred the paper! The more things you give a rabbit to do, the less bored she'll be and the less she'll want to destroy your stuff!

You rat probably has an upper respitory infection. It probably isn't as active as normal either. Try giving it milk through an eye dropper. If this doesn't work take you rat to the vet immediatly; but if it does, try drench some bread in milk and feeding to him.

I have had mice and rats both. Both of which did nothing more than squeak.

Women are afraid of mice cuz they are dirty and some jump on you so girls / women don't want to get an small , dirty animal walking around them . Also women are scared of everything cuz it is the way they are . I guess cuz women are clean freaks and mice are not they run around dirt and disguising stuff like that i guess IDK.

Actually, 8 is usually the norm, however six or ten is common. Sometimes they can have an odd number too.
