How long is the memory span of a mouse?

A monkey's memory span varies between the different types of monkeys, so there is no single answer to this question. When are mice full grown?

Age When Full Grown
I read an article where they claim that a rat is fully grown at 2 months, this may be the age when they become adults, but in my experience rats stop growing 4 months, unless you count pudge..which I don't.

Hi this is Claire Ewing and if you have a rat, it might stop growing at about one year old. Mine is almost one and is still growing. She'll be one in two months. So rats can actually keep growing until the three years old. That's very close to when they're old enough to die.
I know I'm going of the question ,but its very very very very sad when you have something (like a rat or hamster) that you love and want forever dies. I hope you don't go through anything like that.

How fast do mice multiply?

Mice are able to reproduce at 4-5 weeks of age.

It's a 3 week gestation period for female mice, & they can become pregnant straight after giving birth.

Now, as mice live for about 2 years, if a female mouse gave birth every 3 weeks, they could have roughly 35 litters in their life time, each litter from 1 to 18 babies.

That's the females, the males can breed every hour.

Can a rat eat a mouse?

No. Not at all, I don't think.

Because rats are WAY bigger than mice (unless its like, a super small rat)

and even then, the rat would probably kill the mouse. I don't recommend it.

Is there a way to keep two male mice from fighting Or is it nothing to be concerned about?

Yes you can but you should probably do after sexual maturity and get them neutered and make sure they like each other you should introduce them in a unknown area that they both don't know its normal that they ignore each other at first but you shouldn't pick the mate the rabbit should because they might live together for a long time!! so take you rabbit with you when you get another one. Also, bring a water sprayer just in case if they get into a fight you can break the fight!

What does it mean if your rat has a bump on her side under her arm?

A bump on your rat's foot can mean lots of things. Do you have your rat on wire flooring? If you do, your rat may have bumblefoot, a serious disease which has no cure. If not, wait and see what happens. If you have waited about a week, and if the paw: (a) is getting worse, or (b) nothing is happening, but it's not getting better, or, if you've already waited awhile, then don't hesitate to take your rat to the vet. It could also be an abcess, which will also reguire veterinary attention.

Well, I don't think that the mother or father mouse would eat the baby. It's just like how humans don't eat their babies. Just to be cautious, put the father in another cage till the babies are grown.

If he is not moving, cold, or things like that.

Why do mice sqeak?

Normally mice do not squeak. Normal mouse communication is far too high pitched for the human ear to hear. Mice do squeak when they're ill with respiratory infections. Sometimes they will squeak audibly for the rest of their lives.

Baby mice will also squeak audibly if they are nursing from their mothers, scared, or hurt.

How do you tell if your baby mouse is a boy or girl?

In order to sex a mouse while it is still younge you will need to be able to touch them and handle them with the mother approving. in order to sex a female mouse there is a small space between the anus and urinary opening. There are also visible nipples on a female mouse or rat. however in order to sex a male mouse you would see the anus is far apart from the urinary opening. A male mouse has absolutely no nipples whats so ever. For more information please visit:http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=18&cat=1804&articleid=2584
