No! Never give your horse a diet that only feeds carrots. This can cause colic, a condition that can be fatal to horses. If you feed your horse a hard feed (such as pony pellets, chaff, economix, etc...), try and cut down on the amount you feed him/her slowly. Immediate changes in diet can 'stun' the stomach and also cause colic. Example: You are feeding your horse three scoops chaff and two scoops pellets. The next day you will feed two and a half scoops of chaff and one and a half scoops of pellets.
You will decrease the amount of feed you give your horse but you must also take into consideration how much your pony/horse is working. I would suggest speaking to your local vet or horse riding instructor (or even your local saddlery staff!) about the changes in your horses diet.
Why do carrots start to freeze in the fridge?
Your refrigerator thermostat is set too low. Put a thermometer in your refrigerator and check that the thermostat is working. If you have a dial type, set it in the middle...either 3 or 5 depending on the calebration of your model. The temperature in your crisper should be about 45-50 degrees. That's the reason it's at the lowest point in your refrigerator. Another reason might be that you don't have enough stuff in the fridge. It is a fact that the unit will work more efficiently if it has more in it. Use water as a space filler.
Can fresh baby carrots be frozen?

How many bags of carrots do you have to eat to turn orange?
You would have to consume a lot of carrots each day for at least a couple of months. A friend of my mother's when I was younger was bright orange and she was always munching carrot sticks whenever we saw her. She had been like this for years. Its deffinatley hard to say only because each person it can be different. But like the other person said you would have to consume large servings and amounts of carrots everyday for months. You will not become orange like the carrot itself but you will have an orange glow. The consumption of so many carrots changes the pigmentation of your sking from the vitamins in the carrots. just like if you were to eat another vegetable this much, you would have a light glow of that color.
