My male cat is so docile so sweet I wonder if he's asexual He doesn't act like a typical male cat Is this normal?

Every cat has a different personality, and it sounds like your male cat has an easy-going and laid back personality. However, I would suspect that he has been neutered, and possibly relatively early in life so that he didn't start to develop the behavior patterns typical of intact male cats.

Yes, your cat is normal - not all males are fighters.

Why cant Kittens leave their mothers at 3 weeks?

At three weeks they're still nursing, and still cannot see. Kittens only start to open their eyes at around three weeks, and start to walk around at four weeks. Mother cats normally begin weaning their kittens at around four to six weeks at the very earliest, and it takes some time for the process to be complete. Most kittens are ready to leave when they reach 12 weeks old.

It's possible to hand raise a kitten that is even younger, if it is abandoned or orphaned. However, the ideal food for kittens is milk from the mother cat, so it's best to go the natural route if that's at all feasible.

How long to wait for a male and female cat to know each other and do the mating?

They don`t acually have to know eachother. When my cat mated, a male cat just turned up, I had never seen it before, and they mated out in the garden. If two different gender cats have been together for a long time and they`re both adults without mating, they or one of them might be sterilized. If not I dont know why they would wait.

When do cats mate-?

Cats will mate throughout the year as the breeding season in cats is practically year-round, running as early as February, and as late as December, although the average season is from March to September. Heat cycles in females can last from several days to two weeks or longer, and repeat every two to three weeks. A female left unspayed and left to roam outside or manages to escape will seek out a male and may not return home for several days or weeks.

Cats reach sexual maturity at around 6 months (some have their first heat as early as four or five months), and will continue until she is either bred (heat cycles will start again a few weeks after the kittens are born or weaned) or spayed. Unless she is a qualified pedigreed breeder, a female cat should be spayed. It will not only cease the uncomfortable heat cycles, but prevent certain serious medical problems.

How much do pregnant cats normally weigh when they are 7 weeks pregnant?

That would depend on how much the cat weighs normally, how much food she's been given ASO.

Weight alone would be a poor proof of pregnancy.

What are breeding rights for cats?

When purchasing a pedigreed cat, "breeding rights" means that the offspring may be registered with one or more of the registering associations (TICA, CFA, GCCF, FiFE, ...). If you purchase a cat without breeding rights, you can exhibit it in competition, but you cannot register its offspring.

Breeders typically sell cats without breeding rights when they feel that the cat does not represent the breed well enough to be used in a breeding program. The cat may still be a beautiful example of the breed and make a wonderful pet. A pedigreed cat without breeding rights is generally much less expensive than one sold with breeding rights.

Due to the prevalence of "backyard breeders", who don't care about registration or pedigrees, reputable breeders increasingly rely upon early spay/neuter, rather than withholding breeding rights, to prevent unauthorized breeding from their lines.

Why do kittens kneed their mother's belly when they want milk?

The action of the kittens' paws stimulates the mothers mammary glands to produce milk.
