If they breath in water they will get pneumonia. Water can very easily get into their lungs, and if a kitten gets water in their lungs it is all over.

Be very careful if you have to feed them with a syringe Let them lick the syringe end don't put it in their mouth unless they go for it, then you must let as little out as possible. No rushing feeding kittens, this also leads to pneumonia.

You can use shampoos like Johnson's Baby Shampoo -Regular scent (don't use too much! and rinse well)

You will need:

Baby shampoo

Towels

face cloth

hair dryer (if applicable)

Cup (If you don't have a shower with a hose)

Before you start:

remove any rugs or anything else you don't want wet!

and put down a towel on the floor

Fill tub with a little bit of water (about an inch to an inch and a half)

bring Kitty into the bathroom and close the door

Remove Kitty's collar or other accessories

Bathing Baby (or Kitty)

Put Kitty into the bathtub (you may wind up getting in yourself!)

Note: Many cats seem to find it more comfortable if there owner sits in the tub as well

Take a gentle face cloth (like the ones used for babies) and lather the shampoo into the fur.

Use your hand to GENTLY lather the head and chin areas (be careful of the eyes, ears, nose, and mouth!)

Once you are done lathering take the shower hose and spray Kitty down until no soap remains (use a cup if your shower is fixed to the wall)

Use a cup to rinse the head to avoid a waterlogged ear. use a face cloth for the face.

now gently ring out Kitty's fur and put Kitty on the towel and get out of the way!

Take a towel and dry Kitty off. now is also a good time to brush Kitty!

Once Kitty is dry, put Kitty's collar back on and clean up the bathroom (and yourself) and bandage up any scratches or bites.

on a scale from 1-5 i would say 1 as this would be quite a serious injury

and it would be quite rare if a hammy survived such injury plus cats have quite scrap that shed loads of Bactria in their saliva and claws so i would say the survival rate would be 10 .

Of course! Most 8 week old animals tend to NOT be potty-trained. What you should do is get them used to a liter box, and potty-train them like a dog. Two is usually the smallest amount of kittens in the litter, but if there is only one kitten, then that either means something is wrong, or the other kitten died.

From the little bit of research I've done on this topic, the best and safest way is to take your cat to the vet and have her spayed. They will do this even if she's pregnant, especially if it is to save the life of the mother.

Breeds have nothing to do with how many kittens can be born. The typical number for any litter is usually averaged around 4-7. It depends on how many times the female mates when she is in heat.

Personally to me, it would depend on the age of said Kitten. If it was under 6 months, i would be very reluctant to give it up to negligent owners. But if it was older it may have escaped. Like dogs cats do yearn for the outside. I own 2 indoor cats, one deaf and only recently the deaf cat has somehow found herself outside (to my horror). I do also have vet checks, spaying papers etc on her. I would give it back out of friendliness and because I haven't anymore room for strays. But if you own no other animals and are willing to vet, care, feed and devote 20 years of your life to it. I would keep it. Again it depends on the age, sometimes they just get out at the worse times.

If its caned cat food maybe 2 days or if dry food with water maybe 3 days. (Make sure its not moldy and a wild animal can't get it!)

It might be a health issue. If the cat has pain when going it might associate the litter box with the pain. Best to take it to the vet to see if there are health problems. If you have changed litter brands or types, that could also be the issue.
