I guess I did this wrong... I have been dating someone for 2 years. He lost his wife about 3 years ago, they have 2 younger children. I have never been in a relationship where someone has spoken to me the way he does. He is constantly putting blame on me for his out bursts. His own children think he is psychotic and agree that he snaps out of no where and is just down right nasty. His issues have nothing at all to do with losing his wife. How do you stop the verbal abuse? I love this man, want a future with him but NOT under the circumstances. He is on his best behavior a wonderful, generous man. Will this ever stop? How do you get them to see that they have anger issues and are being verbally abusive, when I draw it to his attention and ask if he would like some man to speak to his 15 year old daughter the way he speaks to me...he says NO, and that I dont deserve to be spoken to that way. My family loves him, so do my children but I am certain that this is not "normal"

well that's entirely up to the individual, in my personal opinion he should not stay in a loveless marriage but it depends on the consequences... if there are children involved or financial implications or maybe the thought of being alone keeps him in a marriage.

Gosh I hope its not happening to you right now. But from my own experience you can tell if your husband or spouse is having an affair. Pay attention to his body language and then watch him when his home or the way his been acting. If he have a cell phone watch how he use it.

a- your spouse will keep his cell phone away from you. The statement will be

kept so you wouldn't see the calls that he made or the in coming call.

b - if your spouse never dress up when he goes to work and all of a sudden

he start making himself look good

c - your spouse will take a shower twice a day one in the morning and

when he gets home at night.

d - your spouse will smell different when he comes home. He will smell fresh

with the smell of different soap which is not what you are using.

e- he will have this different look in his eyes like he just won a price.

f - he will make a lot of excuse about working late or working early.

This are some of the sign which happened to me so I think it will be the same to most wife. But I hope he is not because the pain of betrayal will never go away.

Unfortunately, I have had some personal experiences with this sort of things... See below for a couple of things to look for: 1. He/She may begin to be suddenly into things/activities that he/she hasn't been into like salsa dancing, movies, exotic foods/restaurants, etc. 2. He/She may start having more time periods that are not accounted for. Also, what goes with this is he/she may stop answering calls to their mobiles phones. Not all married men do, for those who never had affairs, those men have a soul and they will never gamble their life just to have affairs with other woman. I think this married man is trying to hide his ring by covering his finger away from her so she wouldn't see that his married, and that's my only opinion. For others they will removed their ring as soon as they're out of their house. With my husband, he took it off so the women he meets on a dating site will know that he is not married.

Yes you do before it's to late and before it gets to bad. The worst thing that a person can do is to know that their spouse is falling for another person. I don't know the situation that your having with your spouse but take my words for it from my own experience and nightmares learning that the man I married didn't have no problem giving his heart to another woman.

If the two of you have children, think about your children and what could happen if you don't stop this now. If you still love your spouse or let say you want to give it another chance, think if you can have the trust you used to have.
