Why ammonia production plants near town?
Ammonia is a air polluter. So we place ammonia plants ner towns.
What does mean application of Kalina cycle in advanced technologies in power generation?
The Kalina cycle is a thermodynamic process for converting thermal energy into usable mechanical power.
It uses a solution of 2 fluids with different boiling points for its working fluid. Since the solution boils over a range of temperatures as in distillation, more of the heat can be extracted from the source than with a pure working fluid. The same applies on the exhaust (condensing) end.
What is Urea-Formaldehyde Resin Glue?
this is the poly-condensation reaction of urea and formaldehyde at acidic medium ..this is milky type productive used as adhesive in plywood industry.
Are pneumatic tools intrinsically safe?
Yes, very safe as long as not used in a explosive atmosphere.
Can you use nickel plated steel balls for grinding media in a ball mill?
yes you can use nickel on a ball mill yes you can use nickel on a ball mill
ASME spec for carbon steel weld caps compatible with SA106B pipe etc
What is the melting point of Celsius?
Celsius is a measure of temperature not a substance, and therefore it has no melting point. What is the melting point of what material in Celsius? [You haven't named the substance you want the melting point of/for]
Which oil is better Castrol Syntec or Castrol Edge?
Castrol Egde! Syntec isn't a true synthetic. True synthetics have something called paoi additives. Syntec does not have this. Edge on the other hand is a true synthetic. It has the paoi contents in the oil. Also Edge is the factory fill for exotic auto makers such as Aston Martin, and Bugatti. Syntec on the other hand has no such credentials. Edge also has the 15,000 mile/once a year drain itervals.(which I still don't recommend) Syntec has no drain interval garuntee. So your answer is Castrol Edge. The worlds only advanced synthetic motor oil.
Melting point of Phenol formaldehyde?
Because phenol formaldehyde is a resin it is usually a mixture of chain lengths and cross linking. For this reason, you would not expect it to have a fixed melting point - rather it would usually have either a melting point range or a decomposition temperature (depending on the structure). As an example, the company Polyols and Polymers lists the melting point range of their POLYTONE PF 201 product as 700C-850C while their POLYTONE AP 132 product has a "softening point" of 970C-1100C but no melting point. Bakelite - which is one of the many types of phenol formaldehyde resin - is a thermosetting plastic which has no melting point; it has a decomposition point. As an example, the Bakelite manufactured by Jiacheng-Chem Enterprises Ltd. has a listed decomposition point range of 240~ 280°C. Again, because it is a mixture of polymer sizes and degree of cross linking, it doesn't have just one fixed temperature; it has a range over which the many different molecules will decompose. The temperatures under which phenol formaldehyde will melt, soften, or decompose are also affected by the amount of residual monomers still present in the polymer matrix.
What are good things about vulcanized rubber?
Vulcanization is a chemical process for converting rubber into more durable materialsby adding sulfur. Non-vulcanized (uncured) natural rubber is sticky, deforms easily when warm, and is brittle when cold. Vulcanized rubber is less sticky and have superior mechanical properties compared to non-vulcanized rubber.
Such as:
better weather resistance (sunlight, temperature changes, water and snow)
better durability (stands mechanical wear better)
better elasticity
better mold ability (easier to make things out of)
What is the Difference between grades of lubricating oil?
Lubricating Oil Is A Thick Fatty Oil (Especially One To Be Used For Lubricating Factory Machinery)
Is there a company in the name of chavcon oil corporation?
Please be Careful about this, it is just cheating nothing else. But the procedure of cheating is relly very nice, they will send you the application form, then they will send you the aggrement letter, after that they will send you the interview letter ( general question which is usually asked) after that they will tell that you have appointed for the post of ................ whatever, you applied for and your monthly salary will be GBP of 3500.Then they will say to contact their coordinator in Bombay.Following are the information Mr. Renuka Reuben /Mrs. Treadle Mobile Number:09967056432 When u will call this guy,he will ask for GBP 462 for the processing fees, only cash no demand draft,if u asked him to meet, he will clearly refused you and will try to make you fool by suggesting you to deposit the money first in his account, because he has to make the pass and so many other things . So please don't take any chance and please send it to others also, so that they can't able to cheat them. I been in Delhi England Ambassy and showed them there copy of appointment letter they clearly said that this is fake.
A treatment apparatus that contacts a rising gas or liquid flow with a descending immiscible liquid flow. One flow contains a contaminant to be removed, the other has a greater affinity for the compound. The dirty product flow contacts the cleaning flow, loses its contaminant burden and becomes clean and goes for collection or further treatment. The dirty solvent flow is treated to remove the contaminant (regenerated) and is re-used in the scrubber.
How work cryogenic air separation plant?
air moisture free remove CO2 water vapour cooled air entered cryogenic unit . air cooled up to lowest temp. air making form liquid. after cooled up to -180- -195oc air separation started o2 separate up to boiling point . N2 separate -195oc.after separation o2 &N2 heat exchange to entered air. &making pure liquid form
Is Newton meter cubed equal to normal meter cubed?
Nm3 is a measure for volume of gases, in cubic meter,
under special conditions of pressure (1 atm) and
temperature ( zero degrees centigrade).
The name for this unity is Normal Cubic Meter.
It is not Newton meter cubed.
What is the mechanisms responsible for the separation of cream by disc bowl centrifugation?
Separating cream uses a device called a separator. The separator uses a mechanism called a worm gear that, when turned either manually or automatically, causes the separator to spin fast enough to separate the milk into cream.
Density is the ratio of an object's mass divided by its volume. The standard international unit to measure density is kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m3).
Sieve analysis is carried out to estimate particle size distribution in a given feed material.
Sieve types normally designated by Tylor mesh series.
What type of coal can be used in pulverized combustion?
Bituminous and subbituminous coals are user to make the pulverized coal for coal burners. This is coal containing the compound bitumen. It is a soft coal. They are graded according to their carbon content. They can be processed into coke before being pulverized.
Why do you inject oxygen scavenger in boiler feed water?
Oxygen is a highly reactive gaseous element. In the presence of steel, the corrosion rate of oxygen doubles for each 30°F rise in temperature. For example, in a boiler system operating at 400 psig and 444°F, the corrosion rate for oxygen is 256 times more reactive than at room temperature.
Sodium sulfite is a highly effective oxygen scavenger
Erythorbate, Diethyl hydroxylamine, Methyl Ethyl Ketoxime, Carbohydrazide and Hydroquinone are other alternatives.
What is uniformity coefficient?
The measure of variation in particle sizes of filter and ion exchange media. The coefficient is defined as the the ratio of the sieve size that will permit passage of 60% of the media by weight to the sieve sieve size that will permit passage of 10% of the media material by weight.
