Further, NO legal and legitimate "winnings" EVER require a person to pay to get legitimate winnings. If you consider this logically: Let's say you have a friend who tells you, "I will give you 20 dollars." You say, "Great!" But your friend says, "To get the 20 dollars, you must first pay me a "fee" of 18 dollars in order to get the 20 dollars." Many years ago, they had some problems that have been addressed. The problem is that those issues keep getting brought up. I don't know. They are an online investment company, in which you give them your money and they help you make trades. On line stock brokers, basically.
One thing concerns me in general, and two things concern me specificallly.
1. Call me old fashioned, but I think people have better luck dealing with brick and mortar companies, Amazon notwithstanding. There are times and places to give your money to strangers, and it seems the net is not generally one of them. Not without enormous name recognition and proven performance, any way.
In other words, investing on line with a some venerable company you've heard of is one thing, but with a relative unknown is another.
2. There was a rather detailed and plausible complaint by a man claiming that an instruction wasn't followed that cost him a substantial amount of money. These things happen to the best of companies, but apparently it was not resolved at all.
3. There is at this point a class action suit against them. A not very efficient law firm is searching about for those who wish to join. So maybe that means something, and maybe it doesn't. Hard to say.
There you have it. Best bet? Do your investing with a known name brick and mortar business so at least when it tanks you have an office to go complain to.

Unfortunately the internet block is actually caused by McAfee.
McAfee admit there is a bug in their software in which the McAfee firewall blocks the internet connection. The fix is to uninstall your McAfee and re-install it.
Or, you can contact McAfee live support, using Remote Assistance, they will repair it for you.
McAfee are a very poor product for the price they expect. They also overprice their internet-bought softwares which can usually be found around 25-50% cheaper in stores.
My personal advice is to switch to a more trusted anti-virus company. I did. All the problems with internet connectivities were resolved as soon as I deleted McAfee and ordered they give a refund.
