It depends. (This is assuming you mean the dv6 laptops) I got a dv6 just recently and it gave me the option to add a backlit keyboard. If you have it then try looking for a button on the top row of you keyboard in the upper right hand corner next to the delete button.

On an Acer aspire laptop, the scroll lock is on the F12 key. In blue letters it says Scr Lk, whihc , means scroll lock.

It depends on the type of keyboard you have. It can be in different locations on keyboards for different countries. Usually it is on the 5 key above the central part of the keyboard where the letters are. By holding one of the shift keys and pressing the 5 you will get the % symbol.

The name of the symbol above the 7 key is an "Ampersand". It is interchangable with the word "And". There's more to it than that, but this is the short answer.

yes Strictly, there is no such type of computer called a QWERTY. But the QWERTY keyboard design is not the only one, in fact, it is one of the least efficient types of keyboard design. It was designed so that original mechanical typewriters could keep up with human speeds, it in fact, slows down typing, it is designed so that all the vowels are placed all around the keyboard so that it takes longer to reach them. The first thing to check is see if their is power going to the keyboard. Does the Number lock, Caps lock, and Scroll lock lights work? If they do work then the problem could be a bad keyboard especially if the mouse works. If the lights do not work then check the plug it could be getting a bad connection, a broken or bent pin, or not plugged in at all.
