A device which connects to the computer is called a "peripheral."

The need of output and imput devices are very important as the computer does not run without it. without it its like a human body without the bones. they are the main devices that run the computer.

Computer mouse or a pointing device. Is that what you mean?

You randomly throw the mouse or monitor to the floor.

If you go into your computer's control panel, click on appearances and themes, look to the top right of the screen under see also, it should say "mouse pointers" and you can modify your mouse pointer.

Because of the computer mouse, and its cousins, the trackball and the clickpad, graphical user interfaces are practical. Otherwise, you'd need a keyboard or maybe a joystick to control things. But with a mouse, once you have enough coordination to use one, you can directly click on what you want.

The first true wireless mouse device was the Cordless MouseMan (1991), produced by Logitech. It used radio frequencies to transmit information to the receiver in the computer. Along with the development of optical tracking technology that replaced mouse balls, the wireless capability of computer mouse devices continued to evolve. In 1999, Microsoft released the Cordless Wheel Mouse, which featured optical sensors. Armed with long-lasting batteries and unparalleled accuracy, the wireless mouse soon gained in popularity, and other manufacturing companies quickly released their own versions. Now, people don't even need a computer mouse pad to operate a mouse, and they can use mouse devices almost anywhere.

pretty much everyone will use a computer mouse, although there are other ways for example: a touch screen like on some computers could be a substitute People with special needs could have one adapted for them also. Hope this helps :)

A mechanical mouse has inside of it a ball which comes in contact with the desktop or mousing surface. As the user moves the mouse around on the desktop, the ball rolls with these movements. This rolling is detected by two wheels at 90 degree angles from each other which are positioned in this way so that one wheel can detect up & down movement, while the other detects left and right movement, together they can reliably detect mouse movement in any direction. A third wheel, the guide wheel is spring loaded and presses the ball against the two sensor wheels.

There are various computer mice types based on technology and working principle : ball mouse, optical (LED) mouse, laser mouse. Also they can be categorized based on DPI resolution. Also there are general purpose mouse types and special gaming mouse with lots of customizable buttons and high and variable resolution and faster sampling. Also they can be classified in terms of connectivity to the computer like wired (PS2, USB) and wireless (RF, IR, Bluetooth).

if u mean a living, running mouse than don't kill it! mice live breath and have souls just like us! it would be just like killing a human so just go down to the store and buy a non-mean mouse trap (it doesn't kill the mouse it just traps it!) once u've caught it release it into a bushy area and release all the mice u catch in ur house to the same spot so they can have a little family reunion and share the stories about "the big pink thing" And have a good time

The mouse is a pointing and clicking device. The pointing is simply the x and y location plotted on the screen or display. When you move up down and side to side the x and y location changes along with your cursor on creen. Item on the screen have functions built into them waiting for the mouse to interact with them. A click down on the button will start this process. Some web pages have javascript embedded on them to watch(listen) for the mouse to move and click. The middle wheel of most of todays computer mouse is designed to scroll and or zoom.

I computer mouse is considered hardware. It falls under the same category as external hard drives, keyboards, printers, and other peripherals.

The space mouse works with six degrees of freedom. It is similar to a joystick and supports the current 3D navigation devices.

the keyboard was around long before the mouse. the mouse didn't come onto it's own until operating systems became gui.
