Non-impact printers are of very different kinds. Laser printers heat-fuse toner to charged locations on a page, and inkjet printers express tiny droplets of ink onto the page, using dot patterns to compose letters and other images.

Low toner may not actually harm (damage) a laser printer. It is more likely to result in poor printing results, or a low toner warning light comes on and the printer will switch off eventually.

You should really look in the manual of the printer. There's really no way to tell you without knowing what you have for a netbook, what kind of network, if any, you have, etc.

If you have a wireless netbook connected to the internet through a router then just be sure the netbook has the updated HP drivers installed and the printer is set up for DHCP and it should grab the IP.

Make sure the printer has the exact same password and encryption, WPA2 if possible, as the netbook. The same information you used to connect the netbook to your network.

Or if it has a USB port just connect it directly to the netbook and set it up that way.

The answer depends on several factors, like quality, manufacturer, etc. Most MICR Laser Toners cost around $100 - $150. There are obviously some cheaper ones but the quality may not be as good.

You can if the route the card takes through the printer is not around rollers that turn the card 180 degrees back on itself. Unless straight through, a card would jam due to being too stiff to bend round the roller.

I own the officejet j4680. I had a problem with it disconnecting over and over again. The solution is to manually input the ip address of the computer, default gateway and the sub-net mask into the printer. Figure out each address on your computer by typing cmd in you your computer search. Then type ipconfig, there it will show you the addresses. Next go into wireless settings on the keypad of your printer. Hit ok then go to IP address and hit ok twice. Their you can manually input the ip address of the computer, default gateway and the sub-net mask. Example: if your ip address is 191.155.2.25 input to the printer 191.155.002.025 . After this is done you will have a secure connection. Good luck!

One can not use photo paper in a laser printer. Photopaper is unsuitable for the use in a laser printer due to the technique which the laser printer uses to deliver his inkt to the paper. For the best result in printing photo's one needs to use a good Inktjet printer.

Laser prints used to be all the rage in all Modeling portfolios due to pricing, some agents liked them, others not. It all comes down to like or not like, Colors are pastel, paper is flimsy and losses quality very fast if left to the elements, many printers made a fortune on the trend.

Ink-jet is truer to colors and contrast, w/a professional look and feel w/a variety of paper widths and extras to choose from.

Depending on what the job is will i decide on the paper.

:) HECK NO if your on a non-windos OS then i cant help but if you have Windos, then you go to control pannel. printers and hardware Printers and faxes right click on your printer, then select properties on genral, click printing prefrences click print in grayscale find a dropdown menu below print in grayscale, click the down arrow and click black ink only Click apply and then OK and your done! if u need any things just contact me on here!

A MATRIX Printer, which was the technology prior to the Ink Jet. Also, older typewriters used a Inked Ribbon that was struck by metal Keys.

I have a Lexmark, which I love. It is a copier, scanner, photo card printer, photo editer, among a few other things that I can't remember at the moment. I will stay with Lexmark when it's time for a new printer.

open the top, flip the tab over the ink cartridge up, pull out ink cartridge, replace ink cartridge, flip tab back down over ink cartridge, close top..
