I went to http://www.intmed.mcw.edu/clincalc/pregnancy.html and put in a due date of Sept 18,2007 and it shows conception date of Dec. 26, 2006. Remember that is based on a 28 day cycle so add or subtract days depending on how long your cycle is. Also, sperm can live in a womans body for 3-5 days, so it can be from sperm from days before that. congrats on the pregnancy =) The answer to this question is simple... If the doctors set it then there is no real way of knowing you would just know the general month which would be December of 2006.

It gives a date of June 13th. Was your last period August 24th/25th? Do you have a long cycle? I did and my due date from U/s was 10-12 days after my due date from last period. This is not really a problem unless you go into labour very early in which case your baby may be much earlier than expected. Term is considered 37 weeks to 42 weeks. I don't know, because I can't find one either. I do know that calculating from the fist day of your last period is NOT accurate especially if you practice fertility awareness. The first day of my last period was over 50 days ago and I just ovulated.

According to LMP, should be 7 weeks and 1 day. Transvaginal ultrasound today indicated that I was only 5 weeks 4 days. The gestational sac was very clear on the screen but there was no yolk sac. If the technician measured correctly then 5 weeks 4 days Is just about the time you would start to see a yolk sac. I have to go back in 10 days for another ultrasound but it seems soooooo far away. The only symptoms I've had has been breast tenderness, minimal fatigue. I've had no nausea, no bleeding, mild cramping. Does anyone have any encouraging words? The suspense is hard to deal with.

The conception day would be 11/18/2008, based on you're due date. You're due date is more accurate in the early stages of pregnancy. SO if you got an ultrasound in you're first 12 weeks, it is pretty accurate. Good luck sweetey!

Yes, they can be wrong, but are not likely to be. Doctors use much more accurate tests for pregnancy than home pregnancy tests. As to the difference between the actual date of sexual activity and the doctor's assessment, the doctor considers the date of conception to be the first day of the last period, which could have been 6 weeks ago. The reality is that actual conception dates and due dates are, at best, educated estimates. The doctor may, and probably will, revise the dates later in the pregnancy as more developmental information about the fetus becomes available from ultrasounds, etc. But, if still in doubt, consult your physician.

I have growth on the womb and i went for two operations to remove the growth and to clean the tubes and what chances of getting pregnant ?
