I have acid reflux and I find that if I eat just a small piece of cucumber it sets off my acid reflux within about 30-60 minutes. It is definitely one of my old foods that I love in salads that I have to stay away from. It happens every time even with a very small slice!

This isn't usually healthy, as your body needs many different forms of nutrients to survive and to function properly. As it is only for a week, there probably won't be drastic probelms popping up or problems occuring. If continued, your body could show signs of vitamin deficiencies (anything from skin and nail discoloration, to bruising eaily, to hair loss, ect.) and weakness. You might lose some weight, as none of those items are high in calories or fat.
Birds will eat whatever they become accustomed to eating and what they like. You can try offering cucumber if you want. Be aware that birds will not readily eat foods they don't recognize as being food, so you have to keep offering new foods every day until the bird realizes that this new item is food and tries it!
