What is the value of a cupcake and custard mug from the Strawberry Shortcake series made by Fire King or Anchor Hocking?

Almost all the "new and used" stores, antique galleries and loan and pawn shops have a computer. Their computer has an internet connection. And an eBay window is up and running all day. Now why would stores that deal in used merchandise have a computer with web tie and an eBay window up and running? It is common knowledge that eBay is arguably the number one marketplace for things like you describe. You should be able to buy, sell and place value on items based on information at the site. There are also a variety of collectors books and guides for all kinds of things from comics and baseball cards to older toys. Your item is probably not going to appear in one of them, but checking with a bookstore might be worthwhile.
