I've had this same urge my entire life. Except I don't think it smells gross, I love it. I can remember all the way back to 2nd grade and sitting in class intently watching a girl sucking and chewing on a piece of lint till she spit it out on the ground. This is waaaay before I knew of anything "sexual", all I knew is I wanted to get my hands on that lint that was soaked in her saliva so I could smell it. everyone is different and deals with things differently. the way I have dealt with heart break is first you have to accept the person meant something to you. It's okay to be sad, but you don't want to be this way forever. if you need to cry, Cry!!! get all that stuff out so you can start new. Start up a new hobby, read a book or keep yourself busy, it will pass soon. if you are still depressed after a month or so you may want to consider seeing a therapist.
