Its either he wants to control you or thinks like a male chauvenist pig and thinks you should speak to him like he's an authority figure or you are not talking to him nicely. Ask other people around you if you speak disrespectfully to them or if they think you do to him, if they say no, then its him and get rid of him.

Well, if we are talking about saying something nice, then she should notice the clothing, hairstyle or nice things that he does and say something positive about that. If we are talking that they are a couple and she needs to compliment him as far as enhancing his appearance. Then she can be sure to know things about the people they are meeting, if they are his friends, to be in on the conversation, she can match his clothing,with hers, when they go on outings. my advice on how to pick up a guy you like is this: if you really like him and he doesnt like you...then stuff him it wont work...but if you reali realli like him then do something to let him know you like him then if he likes you then you can get started.

The above is from some girl. This is a boy. From our perspective, girls don't make the first move unless they're sluts. Like it or not, that's how we're programmed to think.

To be honest, a boy will gauge whether he wants to be with you within the first 5 seconds of seeing you. If he meets you and that switch doesn't click in his head, he will only think of you as a friend.

However, if you really want to break this system, you have to convince him that you have options, you know how to dress, and his buddies totally dig you. If a boy thinks you're hot property, he will do anything to get with you.

But overall, the thing which is most important (but most girls and women who give advice like that above don't know) is this:

NEVER send a friend to tell a boy that you like him. This completely kills it for him. If a girl likes a boy he will lose interest pretty quickly. This is because he is put in control, and it makes it boring for him.

Also, it sorta kills the idea of picking you up for him cos he didn't make the first move and he sorta looks worse for it, it will definitely put him on the spot if nothing else.

Even if you do go out, if you keep this sort of "I'm more into you than you are into me" vibe going, he's going to start to look for some other options.

well i think you should get to know him even if your nervous you should give the boy and chance and see if yall connect you should hug him when you see him, but not be too clingy. If you go to school/work with him sit with him at lunch. but give him his own space too. you should just be totally relaxed dont change your personality because that was who he liked in the first place! you need to be more specific... r u the person who just got your first boyfriend...or are you a parent wondering about your child

Lots of heartaches and dis respect from other people that never like other culture or skin color. People are selfish when it comes to other skin color, I know because the family of the man I married never accepted me for who I am. But I will say, be proud, walk with your head up and ignore those people that look at the skin color.

A good reason to stay in a relationship is when that relationship improves you as a person, improves your life to some degree, and you have the same effect on the life/lives of those you share a relationship. If these qualities are missing from a relationship, then it will only drain the participants emotionally.
