The most valuable would be in MINT condition, some of the model Include the TIN friction set (all lithographed multi colored) M10005 set which could have as many as 7 trailing Named City rolling items) also an unusual find is the 1829 engine. Condition is paramount in all cases for Marx trains.

In a way. Hot wheel cars are made better than Matchbox in my opinion.

When first made they were hand painted however in the modsern age they are spray painted onto the metal body of the toy car.

Very true.... There is no answer for the codes. There was talk about Mattel giving answers to the codes, but it never happened.

Hot wheels collections can be worth a varied amount. This can depend on the size and rarity of the items within the collection. As well as the desirability of the items, and the value that the buyer puts on them.

It completely depends on what it is and how old it is. In general, mattel sold most Limited edition Hot Wheels in the $10-$15 range. Most of those cars are readily available on the internet for less. Camaroes and Mustangs seem to hold their value best. Limited cars from the early 1970's may be 1000s of dollars, such as an Ed Shaver AMX. ($5000) Shell limiteds go for a couple of hundred. You would be best served by finding a Tomarts Guide to Hot Wheels or one of the other guides and looking the car up. Expect to get 1/2 the value unless you are looking at rarities.

Although, There is one episode in battle force 5 where vert meets with his father in a powerplant. but it didn't really have any connections or similarities that would answer our many questions. his dad was wearing very futuristic clothing in the last movie, and was driving iridium but now hes wearing tattered clothing and is driving a beat up hot rod that Ive never scene him drive in and of the other movies, very big time gap. bottom line: hot wheels attempt to give the many fans closure for the epic 4 part season has failed in my opioion. it had no refernces to the movie at all. no explaination to what happened to the metal maniacs and Teku when they searched for vert. it wouldnt require that much work to finish it but why they didnt complete the series is beyond all of us.
