With most video cameras you can. I can do it with my camera, just have the camera in Auto (or whatever your usual record mode is) instead of Play or VCR mode. It should stream straight into your computer.

The camera has to have a memory card. If your laptop is somewhat new, it has a slot to pop in memory cards. If you don't have a memory card slot on your laptop or the memory card won't fit in it, get a card reader. I found one that's not too expensive at Best Buy. You can also order one online. Most card readers plug in with a USB.

If you are using a compact camera, digital or otherwise, the lens probably has no markings you can use. In this case, you will have to obtain a depth of field chart. If the camera has a depth of field scale on top of the lens barrel, you locate the f stop (the number) being used for the shot on both sides of the center dividing line and estimate the corresponding distances that line up with those numbers to get the depth of field as a range in feet or metres.

Describing this in words is virtually impossible, so the best I can suggest if you did not grasp the above, is to read up on it in your camera manual or Google it.

LG PM-225 phone has a USB support. So you can use the usb data cable for the phone to connect it to computer. The phone is typically recognized by the computer as an accessory, with the proper driver installed on the computer. After that you can transfer any pictures to or from your phone. It is also a good idea to read the reviews before buying, to ensure the camera really is as good as it appears.

The amount of pixels per picture is just to measure the detail and clarity of a picture. The 30 pixels will give you a clearer crisp picture with more detailed color, whereas the 10 pixel will have a larger botchy picture with no intense small detail.

when you look through the lens before taking the picture the image is actually being 'bounced' off several mirrors.

when you take the photo the mirrors fold back and are captured in the camera.

when you are finished taking the photo they go back intoplace so you can see through it again.

that is why when you take a photo there is that snapping noise. if you were to look through it at that moment you could probably see blackness for a split second because the mirrors have gone and then you can see it again because they are back.

It really depends on your camera and it's settings. The lower the resolution, and the higher the compression setting, the more pictures will fit on your card. That aside, the range is very large; it will fit between 1,200 and 62,000 depending on your setup. Pretty dramatic huh. And actually, if you were shooting on a Digital SLR or even on the new Canon Powershot G10, while shooting in RAW mode, it could be as little as 300 pictures. So as you can see, without details, it's hard to be precise in my answer.

If you read the Nook Color user guide you will find the picture (Gallery) and music apps in the "extras" folder. The directions are not as specific as they should be, however, I have successfully downloaded my own photos into the Gallery where you will also find some preloaded wallpapers. Here is what I did. Connect the usb cable to the NC and to the computer. Find the pictures you want to transfer, copy them. Open "MY Computer" and you should see the NC as a drive. In XP on my computer it was labeled "Media". I just dropped (pasted) the pictures I copied into the drive and will wonders never cease, they are in the Gallery folder. Once in that folder you can rotate them or delete them. Make a slideshow or choose one to be your new wallpaper. I got a message about Roxio which is a program on my computer and perhaps there is an easier way to do this through Roxio, but for now I am a happy camper. The user guide also tells you what files your NC supports. For example, I found there is no reason to make my Word docs into PDF files, the NC supports doc. Same transfer process or transfer them as PDF through Adobe Digital Edition.
