Is there a pill that will perform a DNC after a miscarriage?
I am so sorry for your loss. There is a pill that will induce a miscarriage for a "missed abortion" or blighted ovum. The pill is called methotrexate and it makes your uterus contract and empty it's contents most times. An actual D&C procedure the doctor goes in and gently scrapes the lining of your uterus and pregnancy tissue out. You can choose either option, it is up to you and you should discuss with your doctor. Good luck.

Dnc prices after a miscarriage?
The price of a DNC after a miscarriage will depend on if the woman has insurance or not. The price would be reduced if the procedure is covered by insurance,
I'm not really sure what you're asking, but I'll give it a shot anyways. After a d&c you will bleed for a little while. Usually it's heavier than your regular period flow and tends to last up to 2 1/2 weeks. As for your regular periods, you might end up skipping one or two after the surgery or you might go right back on your usual schedule, every one is different.

Some women don't experience any signs and symptoms of being pregnant. What you needed to do (about 39 days ago) was to take a pregnancy test.
Yes. The DNC will clear out all of the pregnancy. If you leave it, it could be weeks later that you find out that you STILL need to go and have the procedure. I am very sorry. Good luck. It is up to you. If you want to let your body expel the pregnancy naturally you can, this may take up to a couple of weeks or you can have the D&C where they will take all pregnancy tissue out surgically. You will get your next period 2-3 months after the D&C. Hello. I am very sorry about your loss hun. A D&C is done when the pregnancy tissue hasn't expelled itself naturally from your body. If the pregnancy tissue remains inside of you it can cause a lot of problems. I would ring the hospital and tell them your now bleeding but do go in for the D&C. The doctor will be able to determine by looking at you whether you have any pregnancy tissue left inside of you or not. Take care.
How long will a pregnancy test remain positive after a d and c?
It's best to get it checked out by a doctor, ask for a blood test to see what your hCG levels are - or get a home pregnancy test. Your hCG can remain high until your next period - which could be one of the reasons they tell you to wait to start trying again until after you've had a period. I didn't realise until recently that you should have 3 weeks of no bleeding before it is a fresh period. I'm now 5 weeks post op and still bleeding so I'm going to see my ob today. If hCG is not going down then they can prescribe a shot/the pill to help stop the bleeding. www.pregnancyloss.com
Will a doctor do a d and c and cone biopsy if your pregnant?
No, you would not have a D&C while pregnant unless you wanted to end the pregnancy. Cone biopsy is done only after the pregnancy is over.
Dilation (dilatation) and curettage (D&C) or sharp curettage is a gynaecological procedure performed on the female reproductive system that used to be a common method of abortion. The procedure involves dilating the cervix and inserting instruments to clean out the lining of the uterus, which can include an embryo or fetus, while the woman is under an anaesthetic. A curettage is performed with a curette, a metal rod with a handle on one end and a sharp loop on the other. D&Cs are commonly performed to resolve abnormal uterine bleeding (too much, too often or too heavy a menstrual flow); to remove the excess uterine lining in women who have conditions such as PCOS (which cause a prolonged buildup of tissue with no natural period to remove it); to remove uterine fibroids or other suspected abnormalities, such as premalignant cells in their uterine lining; and occasionally as a method of abortion. Because medical and non-invasive methods of abortion now exist, and because D&C requires heavy sedation or general anesthesia and has higher risks of complication, the procedure has been declining as a method of abortion. The World Health Organization only recommends D&C as a method of abortion when manual vacuum aspiration is unavailable[1]. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, D&C only accounted for 2.4% of abortions in the United States in the year 2002[2], down from 23.4% in 1972[3]. Three related procedures used for abortion are suction or vacuum aspiration, dilation and evacuation and dilation and extraction, the latter of which is also known non-medically as partial-birth abortion. If the procedure is performed too roughly, scar tissue may form and seal the uterus shut (Asherman's syndrome), resulting in infertility. See the Related Link for "Dilation and Curettage (D&C)" for more information.

How long does it take for lft results to come back?
I had LFT done at a recent visit to the hospital. Results were back in around 2 hours. I just had to repeat the test at a lab due to elevated numbers so I'm not sure how long that'll take. After all my searching, I found that some people heard their results from the lab the same day and others didn't find out for 14 days..so it looks like it varies depending on the lab, the doctor, and the results. Seems like elevated numbers come back faster than normal ones.
D & C stands for Dilatation and Curettage, which is a dilation of the cervix and cleaning out of the uterus. Most miscarriages do not need a D & C done afterwards, and having endometriosis has nothing to do with it. You only need a D & C after a miscarriage if you continue to bleed or cramp, indicating there is still part of the pregnancy that needs to be removed.
I am very sorry for your loss, but don't give up hope! Endrometriosis is common and I've had it (very badly in my 30s) and found out it left scarring. It would be wise to have your doctor send you to a specialist. Scarring can be removed if the specialist feels this is what is needed so you can get pregnant.
