Dog fighting is illegal but that question is easy to answer. Dobermans are guard dogs and not a fighting breed. Dobermans are not afraid of anything. That is untill they feel pain. Never put a pitbull against another breed. That worst than watching two pitbulls fight.

For the same reason that some people are allergic to peanuts or milk and others aren't. It's partly environmental (based on your exposure to the offending item) and partly genetic. My brother used to catch and crush (yeah he was troubled) bees, and they often stung him. One day he had a severe reaction and has to avoid bees. Maybe it's karma but his doctor says he developed the allergy thru overexposure to bee venom. Other people can have a fatal reaction to their first bee sting.

Depending upon the location these active chemicals (Histamine etc) can produce vasodilation, increased permeability of blood vessels, bronchospasm, excessive production of mucous which results in symptoms we see.

Well, my dog was a puppy, we gave him a bath in the bathtub. He made a whole mess of the place. Now that he no longer fits in the tub, we bath him outside with the hose. He runs around and tries to bite the hose, but he still gets wet. Then you put on the dog shampoo and leave it on 3-6 minutes, while using the brush and combing him. Then rinse him out thoroughly.

A doberman is the 2nd fastest breed of dog in the world and a German shepherd is about 10th. a doberman pinscher also has very strong jaws one of the strongest also. and im not saying a German shepherd isn't fast because they are but not as fast as a doberman.

i have 2 dobermans 1 is a dark red 5year old doberman named diva wev had her since she was 13 weeks and we just got another red doberman named redbull. my female diva doesnt like redbull because he is annoying. they always fight and redbull doesnot back down redbull fights with her and he is so brave when he grows up a pitbull couldn't take him. wev had him for a month and a week and hes 13 weeks and hes already faster than me and im 12 years old. so that's why a doberman is better to have.

The DPCA (Doberman Pinscher Club Of America) has devised a temperament test (WAE - Working Aptitude Evaluation) that demonstrates the proper characteristics for which the Doberman was created. Upon passing this test the Doberman is awarded a WAC (Working Aptitude Certificate) title. The requirements are: the dog must be a Doberman, at least 18 months of age, must be AKC registered or have an ILP (Indefinite Listing Privileges obtained from AKC) number. It is not necessary for any dog's tail to be docked, even if the breed standards indicate otherwise. I live in the UK and here it is illegal to unless your vet docks the dogs tail for health reasons. I don't know about other countries.

Doberman Pinschers ears are naturally supposed to stay down, but to get the ears to point up you would have to crop the ears. They would have to have a surgery for the cropped ears. Ear cropping should be done by seven or eight weeks of age. The ears will have to be taped which takes four or five months till the dog can have its ears stand up without the assistance of the tape.

Mastiffs are much heavier, larger and more powerful than a doberman is. Mastiffs were originally bred to be fighting dogs, though in today's world, the domestic Mastiff is more gentle and laid back. The same with the doberman. Dobermans, because they are smaller and lighter than a mastiff, are quicker on their feet, and probably can do more damage than a mastiff is capable of doing. But the jaws of a mastiff are very powerful, and once in those huge jaws a doberman wouldn't have a chance.

Dobermanns and Beaucerons were bred for different purposes, Dobermanns were bred to guard people and property, whereas Beaucerons were bred to herd and protect sheep. Beaucerons are a Pastoral breed and Dobermanns are in the Working Group. At first glance the two breeds may look similar; they are usually both black and tan with the same level of intelligence. However, Dobermanns have a much smoother, shorter coat and are usually docked. Beaucerons are not docked amd have rougher, longer coats. Some Beaucerons may also have a harlequin coat colouration, similar to that of some Great Danes. The two breeds may display some different behaviours, with the Beauceron much more eager to herd (like a Border Collie). Dobermanns are not a herding breed and are much more inclined to guard. They both grow to a similar size and weight. Beaucerons have a unique double dew claw on their hind legs which Dobermanns do not have. Beaucerons are also exceedingly rare, whereas Dobermanns are relatively popular as guards and pets.

Usually black with rust-colored markings, they also come in red fawn or even blue. Despite their reputation as guard dogs, Dobermans much prefer to be let indoors at night.
