They returned later in Season 1 of Doctor Who with Christopher Ecclecson and Billie Piper.

No there is not a real Torchwood house. The term "Torchwood" was created by Russell T Davis and is an anagram of "Doctor Who".

The BBC created a Torchwood house website to assist in promotional activity around both Doctor who and Torchwood. However it is a manufactured site and there is definitely no real Torchwood House.

Well... yes and no. Some episodes can be very scary, although others not so much. I would reccomend watching the epsiode first to make sure there isn't anything too scary, if you're talking about small children. There is also very VERY rarely a light cuss word, although never anything too profane (ex. "damn"). All in all I would say yes, as there is never any blood or anything too gruesome, and Doctor Who was originally meant as a childrens show. ("We want to scare the children, not traumatize them!")

There have been a few orphans on the 51 + years of the running tv show Doctor Who. Are you referring to the classics or NuWho or both? Or are you referring to the actors/actresses instead of characters? Main characters non main characters? Guest Star characters? Alien orphan or human orphan? When you have literally all of time and all of space, details are important in questions to get the best answer you are seeking for. The two most well known orphan characters on Doctor Who the NuWho is 1. Amy Pond (Because of the crack in time erasing the existence of her parents) & 2. Melody Pond [River Song], because she was kidnapped from her parents and taken and raised in an abandoned orphan home as a child by the secret religious order known as "The Silence". yes he did, In the episode The doctor's daughter-series 4- the doctor mentioned to Matha and Donna that he once had children. nobody knows their names yet.

He does now have a New daughter Jenny who he got from some skin on his hand, A solider forced the 10th doctor's hand into a progenation machine. A tissue sample is extrapolated and accelerated, and within minutes the Doctor becomes a father! again.
