Can a doctor treating a patient refuse to treat suddenly?

A doctor may decide that there is "nothing which can be done" if the problems are too numerous and additional attempts to help may only cause additional harm. This would not be decided in isolation; a doctor would consult with other specialists before ever reaching this decision. Additionally, this would never be the final answer; the doctor would probably say "I can't help you, but here are the names of a few specialists who might be able to assist."

Doctors also (should) know their limitations. Sometimes, a problem, or a conglomeration of problems, is better left to specialists. Osteopaths (DOs) are doctors with specialized training to understand health issues within the framework of a systemic approach to health. A general practice doctor may refer a patient to a DO, or an internal medicine specialist, if a conglomeration of issues is better handled by one of them. I don't think I'd categorize that as a refusal to treat, however. It's a point at which a doctor knows that the best care for the patient can be achieved by someone more specialized.

Ultimately, a doctor will try to the best of his ability, to help. "First, do no harm" as the colloquial shortening of the beginning of the Hippocratic Oath is said.

When calling in a prescription, a prescriber needs to give the pharmacy the patient's name and date of birth, the prescriber's name and appropriate license and/or DEA numbers, and office location. Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) and Doctors of Medicine (M.D.) are both full-fledged physicians trained in the United States who attend four years of medical school and are eligible to specialize in any field of medicine after residency training. In short, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine get to work with Doctors of Medicine in a hospital because both DOs and MDs are physicians qualified to work in a hospital.

Additionally, both DOs and MDs may sit for board certification examinations and each type of physician has the same legal and medical responsibilities such as prescribing medications, performing surgery, working in the hospital, medical diagnosis, etc. The difference between a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Doctor of Medicine is a slight one-Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, in addition to the standard medical curriculum, receive 300-500 hours of instruction in a form of manual therapy known as osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM). This form of therapy is another approach sometimes used by DOs to address a patient's musculoskeletal issues. In short, they're both physicians performing the same job.

How much would a doctor make an hour?

A big part of that is where you work for example if you are a Doctor working in U.S.A. expect to make some big bucks im talking 200-400 dollars an hour if not more. I've heard that some doctors get like 800,000 a year in America but then ive also heard than they get taxed big time like sometime 200,000 a year even 300,000. Canadian doctors don't make near that much money but still get 100,000 to 200,000 a year which is still a great salary. I don't really know about anywhere else and don't take my word for it because I've just heard this from people and from my friend who is becoming a doctor is Canada.

No, unless the a patient is in a coma or the parents told the doctor not to tell the minor child

What does a muscle doctor do?

There really is not one, at least not in the most specific sense. A Physiatrist cares for the musculoskeletal system, but then so do physical therapists and massage therapists. If you need testing or diagnosis, you will need to see the medical doctor. For treatment of the muscular system, however, you will need the services of other health care professionals. In my experience, you cannot beat the hands-on skill of an experienced (and licensed) massage therapist.

Can you make a homemade plaster cast?

Good question. I'm assuming that you are looking to make a fake cast for fun - not actually treat an injury. treating an injury incorrectly, without proper x-rays and expertise will result in permanent problems.

Making the cast should be easy. Just go to a hardware store, pick up some plaster of Paris, and follow the directions. It would probably work best of you get roller gauze form the pharmacy and run it through the plaster of Paris before wrapping it around the limb and letting it dry.

The tricky part will be getting back off. With real casts they wrap the limp with later of bandage to keep the plaster way from the skin. The real problem will be breaking the plaster. Medical saws used for this vibrate and so not cut skin. Do not use a regular saw as you will cut yourself. Using a hammer to break the plaster may result in the need for a genuine cast. I

I would suggest making it look real with thick layers of cloth bandage topped by a thin layer of plaster. You also could consider just using an ace bandage and painting it white.
