Many dogs enjoy catnip. My dog eats fresh catnip that grows in our yard and enjoys my cat's catnip toys more than the cat does. Before allowing your dog to eat catnip or play with toys, ensure that the catnip has not been sprayed with anything and that there are no squeakers or stuffing/fabric that the dog could ingest.

If you're using soap, then let the soap sit in the area for a few minutes and then rinse it off with another clean cloth with very warm water on it until you no longer get soap, & then dry the tail well.

After this you can apply betadine solution which you can find at a pharmacy if you don't have some at home. Betadine solution is harmless to your dog, so it is fine if she licks it. Do this cleaning and disinfecting two times a day or at least once daily. You can also ask your vet to shave the hair off her tail to make it easier to clean and disinfect. If she keeps biting her tail you can ask your vet for preventive measures that can be taken to keep her from biting her tail until her wounds are healed & or the complication have disappeared.

While some dogs may exhibit predatory behavior towards cats or other small animals, it is not safe to assume that all dogs will eat cats. Proper training, socialization, and supervision can help prevent any aggressive behaviors towards cats or other pets. its natural for dogs to chew because there teeth are in a growing stage so they chew nearly everything especially wood if you have that problem i would recomend puppy bones and plenty of chew toys they with stop chewing when they turn 1 year old. thank you. ANSWER: Well I would think that you would need a large fence. If you had a Great Dane or a large dog like that you will really need a huge fence. A German Shephard or a Lab then you could knock the fence a little.
