yes with all mamals until they are fourteen weeks old everyone is female so we all have nipples or teets. Then at fourteen weeks if a boy their hormones activate [testosterone] but if female they carry on.
What are characteristics of pomachon breed of dog?
My pomachon is wonderful dog. He's 12lbs, kind of leggy like the bichons, and his coat is all undercoat (ie soft and fluffy). That being said, pomachons need to be groomed regularly - 4-6 times a year at a cost of $45 and up. My pomachon rarely barks, but does have some separation anxiety. He's very very gentle, and has never snipped or bit anyone, and he's had his tail pulled a few times by children. He's kind of a picky eater, which is more of a pom trait.
Is it normal for my 2 month puppy to sleep all the time?
Yes, it is normal for a 2-month-old puppy to sleep a lot throughout the day. Puppies require a lot of sleep for growth and development. As long as your puppy is eating, drinking, and showing no signs of illness, you should not be concerned about their sleeping habits.
Are Mioritic Sheepdogs dog aggressive?
Mioritic Sheepdogs are not known to be inherently dog-aggressive. Their temperament is typically described as gentle, calm, and loyal. However, like all dogs, socialization with other dogs from an early age can help prevent any potential issues with dog aggression.
What other behaviors or symptoms does your dog show? Does he seem scared, is his personality different in some way, is he hiding something in that corner of the back yard? You need to find out some more information. It might be a good idea to take him to the vet just for a routine check-up and eliminate the possibility of a physical problem. The vet might also detect it if, say, he was attacked by a cat or something and you didn't know about it, because the vet might find scratches or scars. If there isn't a physical problem, then there must be an emotional issue for the dog, and you're going to have to spend some time out in the yard with the dog to figure out what it is and then decide what the next steps should be.
How do you tell if a dog is happy?
Watch especially the ears, eyes, mouth and tail. I think these are the most expressive parts. You might want to go to a dog park and watch how the dogs interact. What do you think they're saying to each other as they approach?
Fast wagging tail means excitement. But a wagging tail doesn't always mean friendly dog. A slowly-wagging tail along with other body signals can signal aggression.
A bow (front down, back up) means "let's play."
Ears up and alert mean he's interested.
Ears pulled back mean he's scared or sad.
Mouth half open (but not panting) often mean he's happy or wants to play.
Well, there's a lot more than that, but that's a start. A book called Canine Body Language is excellent for learning this. It goes a lot deeper than just happy/sad/etc., but it's really an interesting book. Well-illustrated. I'd highly recommend it. Also, a book called On Talking Terms with Dogs talks about certain kinds of dog body language ("calming signals"). This is also very interesting, but the first book is more aligned with your question.

Why do male dogs urinate on female dogs?
Most male dogs who have not been spay or neutered have dominant personalities. Just like marking their territory, urinating on an object shows dominance over it. I recommend Ceasar Milans 'Be the Pack Leader' or 'How to Raise a Perfect Dog,' these are incredible tools that offer's great insight into a dogs personality and tendencies.
What is a dogs behavior right before they die?
Some dogs may exhibit changes in behavior before they die, such as withdrawing from their usual activities, seeking solitude, loss of appetite, or increased restlessness. Each dog's experience may vary, so it is important to provide them with comfort and support during this time.
Not all dogs do, your dog can probably taste where another dog has had a wee. Also, sometimes salt, and oils are left from whatever has evaporated, food, liquids, even where someone was sweating. Anything that will leave a residue, a dog's keen nose will sniff it out and he is going to investigate with his tongue. If he's got nothing else to do, and he likes the scent, or taste he will contintue to lick and sniff. Make sure there are no harmful chemicals near by, such as anti-freeze, which tastes sweet and is extremely dangerous, and even charcoal dust especially with the lighter fluid already in the bricks, can be dangerous as well. I'd recommend you just clean the concrete off with water on a regular bases and keep an eye on your pet.
Why do dogs lick other dogs eyes?
I have a black lab and a St.Bernard and the black lab constantly licks my St.Bernards eyes and jowls. When I asked my vet why he did this so much they told me it was a nurturing quality and that my lab was just looking after my St.Bernard.
yeah i love to i run my mouth up and down
No. I am a lesbian.
The place where the cow lives is called?
cows are live in the shelters given by the man. But they are the wild animals before the man comes to the earth.
How do you get a dog to stop eating walls?
First, you have to figure out why your dog is exibiting that behavior. Is it trying to get at a scent, bored, or just plain stressed? Then there are several things you can try. Do some exercises with your pet, having him lay down about 3-4 feet away from the wall with you standing in front of it. Claim the wall. Its yours, not his, and he must not be allowed to chew it. Keep him away from the wall and stop any advances toward it that he may make. Try to do that several times a day, rewarding him after he ingores the wall and stays in front of you for about 5 minutes. If he does this in multiple areas, do this all over your home in all rooms. Also make sure hes getting enough exercise! Dogs are working animals and need plenty of time to get out and play. When youre not able to protect your walls, try crating him or putting him in a pen. Good luck!!
Yelp is an old term/slang used amongst dog breeders that also means birthed. I don't find it commonly used anymore, most of us use the term Whelp, Whelped, or Whelping when it comes to the birthing process. However; you will still find some breeders who use the term Yelp.
My female dog will not let my male dog play with any toys. why?
How much does a dogs brain weigh?
There are many dog breeds, so their brain weight varies greatly. The average weight is about two ounces, or 72 grams.
If you don't want your male dog to breed when he's older, get him fixed. But if he's gonna be a breeding dog tell him good boy when he humps you and pet him, no matter who he's trying to hump. If possible, bend down and spred your legs. I'm not being nasty, but my friend did it with her dog and it worked.
ewww why would you do that loosing your vegentity to a dog or whatever your doing its just discusting eww i mean i would not do that and whats wrong with your friend anyway im not trying to insutl you im just saying that's not the right thing to do that is inappropriate and spredding your legs to a dog i mean OMG i really hope you get this so you and your little friend can come to your senses--------Kababii that's my user name
What does it mean when dogs put their tails between their legs?
They are sad. When my wife and I are getting ready to leave home my dog will tuck his tail and actually look sad. As long as one of us is there when the other leave he is alright. Watch your dog the next time you are preparing to leave home. DOGS TEND TO SENSE HARM AROUND THEM......SO IN OTHER WORDS WHEN THE TAIL IS BETWEEN THE TWO HIND LEGS OS A DOG IT IS SCARED! It is also a sign of submission. If a dog is approached by another dog that is more dominant they will tuck their tail between their legs. They may also lay their ears down and hang their head to show the other dog that they are not a threat. The ultimate sign of submission would be for them to roll over on their back.
Why do wild dogs kill livestock?
Wild dogs may kill livestock because they see them as easy prey. Domestic animals, such as livestock, are typically slower and less agile than wild prey, making them more vulnerable to attacks by wild dogs. Additionally, wild dogs may target livestock for food when their natural prey is scarce.
A human boxer can run up to 26 km/h.
A dog boxer can run up to 32 km/h.
What are some human instincts?
Well some human instincts are to run, for example you are told not to run from a bear but when confronted by a bear you feel as if you must. Anther example is we're always competing, even when we least expect it. The will to win is an instinct that's kept our species alive. our instincts are honed to survive in a world far riskier than the one we inhabit today, and that this is why we often crave food high in calories, reject food that could be poisonous, and react to primeval dangers such as snakes.
Dogs, younger dogs and puppies, eat bugs because there exciting to chase and probably even taste alright. As my trainer once said, when puppies aren't eating, sleeping, or pooping, they are honing there "hunting skills".
Older dogs may also do it for fun, or perhaps out of habit. If your dog is getting diarrhea or vomiting, talk to your vet, but bugs almost always aren't the problem.
If you have a breed of dog such as a Lab, whp doesn't know when to stop eating, eating insects may be very commen.
i would ask your vet if this is gping to be a problem, but until then, don't worry to much. If the wild, dogs ate bugs too, :D.

No way! This is just a stereotype you've heard. My dachshund is the love of my life, the sweetest dog on the planet. And a coward, haha. Dachshunds are very loving pets. They can be defensive of their owners if they feel extremely threatened. Even then I wouldn't call them vicious. They do what any other dog would do: bark. I call them normal.
If its from a rescue center it could have been kept with kittens when it was a puppy because the other puppies were too big or were attacking it.Thats what happened to my friends dog.It should learn to bark eventually. My friends learned when it was 16!!!
Malamute breeds do not bark but "talk."
How do you stop a dog pacing in gait with both legs on one side moving together?
If the dog is otherwise healthy and doesn't have any signs of emotional or psychological issues and if that kind of gait works for the dog, then he doesn't need any correction.
If by "pacing" you mean a dog with an obsessive pacing issue, then you have a psychological issue that needs to be addressed with the help of a dog trainer or a vet.
