How does the dragonfly communicate?

I'm not sure....I saw today a big wide dragonfly eating up a tiny thinner one (or so it looked as the wing of the victim was almost coming off and its face being devoured, plus its body was half eaten up.) At first I thought they were making love (as you can see I am no dragonfly expert!!) but upon closer looking I saw the strange movements of the mouth of the bigger one, as if it were swallowing something. also, it was caring the body of the other one and as I said before, the wing looked as if it were about to come off; it was turning in weird directions and hanging loosely to the body of the other one.

I don't know why they do this, but perhaps it could be because they were two males (although the one who ate the other one was MUCH much bigger than him) or perhaps just enjoy the taste of dragonfly?

Where can you find a dragonfly?

The truth is, not many people know this but dragons are actually very common in the highland region of North Umbria. To buy a dragon from there, you need to find the man with a purple umbrella, sitting at the end of a wharf in the harbour on the north east side 56 degrees. There, you shall find him. Say this 'Wibble dongle." And he shall reply "Toot toot."

In response, you must say "Take me."

He will say no but take you anyway.

Hope this helps.

Yours Sincerly

Peter Dragon.

You can buy stuffed animal dragons at a store, you cannot buy other, real dragons.

What is the climate that dragonflies live in?

Immature dragonflies live in freshwater. They are most abundant an diverse in slow-moving freshwater that has no fish (small streams and ponds) but can be found in many shallow freshwater habitats. Adult dragonflies often stay near water, but sometimes travel away from water while hunting or on migration. They are fast fliers, so they tend to hunt in open areas, not in thick trees or other vegetation.
