What are the side effects of taking Butalbital?
I've been using butalbitol for migraines for over thirty-years. I've tried other migraine medications over the years, but always return to the butalbitol/aspirin/caffeine combo called fiorinol. The only side effects I've experienced are a slowing of mental process, relaxation, calmness, peacefulness, and euphoria. I wouldn't recommend driving if you aren't used to it because you can get pretty drowsy and spaced-out. It works best for migraines if you can take a nap about a half-hour after taking it.

Are there side effects of taking ADVIL daily?
Taking Advil, since it is an aspirin regimen, can lower your risk of heart disease and heart attack. However, Advil isn't the best or the safest aspirin regimen to take. If you insist of taking an aspirin regimen every day, I would recommend Bayer aspirin regimen.
But other than that, there are no really serious side effects.
However, do not take an aspirin regimen if you are experiencing stomach problems. If your stomach feels like it is cramping or hurting really bad, I would recommend switching over to a Tylenol regimen. Tylenol is 100% ibuprofen. I am recommending this because you should NEVER take an aspirin regimen when experiencing stomach discomfort.
What could cause delayed effects or onset of medications?
just a little more info..
What could cause a 2-3 hour delayed onset of effects from Adderall or Restoril? or any medication ?
I've been on the same medications and the same dosages for over a 2 years:
Cymbalta 60 mg - 7am
Adderall XR 20 mg - 7am
Adderall IR 10mg - 3pm
Restoril (temazapam) 30mg - 10pm
On Saturday's I sometimes take the Adderall later in the day, and skip the Restoril because I like to be awake later on the weekends I don't have work, but on the weekdays i stick to the above schedule.
My issue if that what seems like all of a sudden (about 2 weeks ago), I've noticed delayed reactions to my medications. For example, I normally start feeling the effect of the Adderall 30 to 60 minutes within taking it, but for the last 2 weeks it doesn't seem to kick in for almost 3 hours. As for the temazapam, I usually take it around 10pm, start getting sleepy around 11, and am totally passed out by 11:30. Nevertheless, the past 2 weeks i don't start feeling tired until around 12, and cant seem to get to sleep until the earliest 1pm.
Now i know both of these medications can loose their effectiveness over time but that does not seem to be the issue. The issue I am getting delayed reactions to them, and this did not seem to be something that slowly developed over time. And now because of all this my sleep pattern is a mess and i'm tired all the time when i'm not supposed to be, and wide awake why i should be tired.
adderall xr kicks in late = i feel tired in the morning
adderall ir kicks in late = i feel tired in the afternoon and wide awake at night
restoril kicks in late = i cant fall asleep or get up in time in the morning
could this be a metabolism issue? i haven't changed my exercise routine or diet, and i cant think of an other thing that would change my metabolism this drastically in such a short period of time
could this be related to another/new medical issue?

What are the harmul affects oxycodeine?
As an oxycodone addict, I feel qualified to answer this.
Many of the harmful effects are not generally well-known, but if you look through studies you will find some, such as permanent hearing damage/tinnitus after long term abuse, potential for psychosis, damage to the temporal lobes which may lead to epilepsy/seizures, etc.
More well-known harmful effects are:
- addiction/dependence/withdrawal symptoms
- overdose (respiratory depression, possible circulatory collapse)
- chronic constipation
Adverse effects can also include things like dry mouth, nausea/vomiting, dizziness, nightmares, loss of appetite, itchiness, severe drowsiness, etc.
Most of these adverse effects go away with prolonged use, and overdose likely won't happen if you're careful. Addiction is very serious however. When I first started taking oxy, I thought "oh well, I'll get some flu symptoms when I want to stop, and that'll be it -- all better!" What I didn't count on was the severe emotional and psychological stress of quitting, the constant craving, the uncontrollable restlessness, pain so bad that it felt like I was being beaten constantly for weeks. And when I say severe emotional stress, I mean I literally had the feeling like my life was falling apart, like my best friend had just been murdered, like everyone had left me, and like the world was ending: nearly suicidal and constantly crying. Oxycodone addiction is no joke. I've been off it for a long time now, and I still consider myself an addict because I think about it every day and how much I want to take it again. Addiction is a life long battle.
