A turtle's egg is very much like a chickens egg.. It should be incubated aka warmed to simulate either the parents warmth or warm sand/mud so that it will not spoil and the embryo can live. It does not require to much heat though.
Take a handful of moss, wet it thoroughly, and squeeze out the excess water. Place the moss in the bottom of the pot. Place your turtle eggs on top of the moss Wet and squeeze another half-handful of moss, and place on top of the eggs. The eggs should now be secured snugly between 2 layers of moist moss, similar to what turtle eggs may find in the wild. Place the whole pot into a plastic bag, and leave it in a warm location. Check eggs every couple of weeks to ensure that the moss has not dried. Eggs should hatch in approximately 70 to 77 day.

Why would a duck not sit on her eggs?
Yes, and he is very protective and attentive to the mother duck. I once watched a drake (male duck) that had two females (hens), and both of them laid eggs within a day or two of each other. The drake stayed with the hens constantly, only leaving for very brief periods at a time. And when the hens would take their brief break from the nest, he followed and protected them, other times he would stay behind and guard the nests.
Why do water birds have webbed feet?
By them having webbed feet their feet help push the water behind them with out any holes or dents (like toes would make feet have) for the water to escape from. This allows the duck to push a greater force behind them allowing them to swim faster....ever heard of flippers? Notice how they make you go faster? Well, this is the same concept. :) Hope this helps :)
well of course they live in fresh water areas. but they are birds so they dont stay in water they hunt and drink from it. ducks do float on top of it but generally fresh water. not salt water. and to be more specific places like lakes, and ponds. no still water becuase of bacteria and parsites.

The platypus, one of only two types of mammals that lay eggs, has a duck-like bill, or extended snout, which is not actually a beak. The animal was commonly referred to as the duck-billed platypus.

How much is your Browning Ducks unlimited shotgun worth?
Guns bought at a Banquet almost NEVER fetch the same price in the open market. These guns are bought as tax write offs, marketing expenses, and on corporate accounts. The prices paid are 60% donation! Generally they are bought by big wigs with a couple beers in them and a corporate check book. It is not theirmoney. The open market will give you a SLIGHT premium over the same gun without the DU, NRA, Pheasant's Forever, NWTF, RMEF, etc, logo on it. The market will not pay what the guns bring at banquet auctions. These guns come up for sale from time to time on the auction sites (which are driven by ACTUAL market prices). I would say you have a very nice gun, but it is worth about $1,000because that is what a similar model fresh directly from Browning is worth. Sorry to burst your bubble...

Specifically, the platypus is a monotreme, or egg-laying mammal. Its closest relative is the echidna, the only other egg-laying mammal.
