Bose DVD players are available from a few different retailers. They can be purchased online from the Bose website or from retailers like Best Buy and QVC.

It's could be because the DVD player is set to play 5.1 surround but you do not have a surround system. Go to your DVD's audio setting and change it from 5.1 to normal stereo.

The problem is most likely in your surround receiver. As most DVD player's don't have surround output anymore, your receiver is where you set your speaker configuration. If you don't have a center channel speaker (the one above or below the screen), you must set your receiver to mix the dialogue of the movie to the left and right speakers. You need a DVD recorder. You can get them as either stand-alone units or with built in VCR or on your PC. On you PC you will need a TV tuner (or some other method of displaying the video on your PC) and then you can save it to your hard drive and then burn it to DVD. The DVD recorder method is much easier as you just need to pop a blank disk in and click on record.

If you have a 1080p hd tv that is known as 1k. 1080p x 4 gives you 4000p aka 4k.

A 4ktv is split into 4 segment, each segments are 1080p. These tv's are huge like 80 inches or above. (eg Panasonic 4ktv)

In UK we went from 1080p hd tv to 3dtv, in places like japan they went from 1080p hdtv to 4ktv to 3dtv. UK skiped a step because they didnt want to be far behind from japan in the technology dept

When we think of blu ray we think of the disk. those disk usually hold around 1080p content. some can hold 4k content but only short clips as 4k definition takes longer to process and takes more space (memory).

if u have a blu ray player and a 4k tv you can experience 10 seconds worth of 4k content on the transformers 2 blu ray. the scene where megatron and prime fight and leads to primes death.

so what is the difference...the difference is, 4k is extreme high definition footage and a blu ray is a disk that usually has 1080p content
