How do you know when you have ectopic pregnancy?
Ruling out ectopic pregnancy is no different with or without Depo Provera. First, the pregnancy test is positive. Second, there is a pelvic mass, or abnormal ultrasound, or abnormal change in hCG levels. Contact your health care provider if you think you may be having a tubal pregnancy, as you cannot diagnose this condition at home.
Do test tube babies have belly buttons?
Yes they do. The eggs are collected from the woman and fertilised in the lab. Once they have fertilised and started to divide to become embryos they are returned to the woman's uterus. They then have the same potential to implant in the uterus lining and grow into a foetus and placenta connected by an umbilical cord just like an embryo created by more 'normal' means.
Is itchiness an early pregnancy symptom?
itchiness is a problem in pregnancy that has something to do with a liver function problem, if you think you are pregnant you need to go to an ob/gyn and find out as soon as possible. ~pawsalmighty
How soon can you test for pregnancy?
Some home tests you can take a few days before you are supposed to start your period. I don't know what kinds, but if you read the box, it will tell you when you can take it. Or you can go to the doctor and they can give you a blood test. These can determine pregnancy much sooner than a urine test.

AnswerI am 5 weeks along. I have had 2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic pregnancy. For some reason, this time, I am experiencing menstrual cramps this time around. At first, I was worried, but I have gone to different websites to read a little more on this. It seems that it is perfectly normal to have these feelings in your belly. Don't worry too much, I worry enough for every pregnant woman out there. Unless there is spotting or unbearable pain, I wouldn't worry at all. AnswerI am 43 years old and third time (naturally) pregnant. Last time I became pregnant it was a very deliberate attempt. We knew what day we tried to consume, what day ovulation began and what day I beame pregnant etc. So it was all planned. approx 10 days after we had sex on my most probable day to become pregnant, I had slight spotting (4-5 days, but only once or twice a day) and I thought it was normal. It was in the form of only one or 2 drop of very pink spotting or brownish red, again very light discharge. Then next three months, I had menstrual pains ( very lightly) almost daily. Then I was told the baby stopped breathing inside me. I had to have an abortion as a result. To find out why I had amiscarriage, I requested from the doctors to have a chrommosommme test on the fetus. The result was a shock. The fetus had a chrommossomme abnormality on the chrommossome 18 and 21, one causing Down syndromme, the other causing Edward Syndrome. But I was told it was not genetic and there was %1 change me to get another pregnancy with the similar result. So in a way. I was luck. This time when I became pregnant I checked the symptoms. Firstly, I did not have any spotting. Secondly, I had menstrual type of ( ever slightly again) pains only before my usual period days. So I am hopefull.
I am not suggesting in anyway that every spotting would cause miscarriage but in my experience I can feel now that there was something wrong with my previous pregnancy from the day 1. So, please be aware of your body and talk to your doctor. Having said that, there is absolutely nothing that anyone can help if one has miscarriage. And in my experience I was devastated when I had a miscarriage but when I learnt the test result, I cried with joy. So I would definitely recommend to conduct a test on the fetus in case of miscarriage.
Answeri found out i was pregnant about a week and a half ago. i was a smoker but i quit as soon as the third test came back positive (i had 4) during my smoking i was having cramps, now that i stopped smoking the cramps have pretty much went away, i get 1 or 2 every 2 days or so. after asking people and going to the hospital, and getting the run around on the right answer, im happy to see that there are other people out there that get them. AnswerI think I am 5 or 6 weeks pregnant and I am having some cramping. Sometimes it is just on one side and other times it moves around. I have that this is normal but I keep worryingthat it is a Tubal pregnancy. I am suppose to go the ob/gyn in 6 days for my first visit but yesterday I bought one of those baby books and freaked out when I read the symptoms for tubal pregnancies. I am also have some low back pain on my right side. I called the doctor this morning to ask their opinion but the midwife on call has to call me back. I was wondering if anyone has had the same symptoms. AnswerAs your uterus is starting to grow and stretch it is very normal in the first trimester to have period like cramps... however if they get really severe call your doctor immediatly or if you see any blood... I am on my fourth pregnancy and cramping in the begining is all quite normal..Does an ectopic pregnancy have to be terminated?
Yes. if a pregnancy has started outside the uterus it cannot survive and is extremely dangerous for the mother. Well, a baby cannot survive during an ectopic pregnancy. So the pregnancy will either be terminated or the baby will be lost before it is terminated.
Can a pregnancy test be positive after a removed ectopic?
A home pregnancy test can not detect an ectopic pregnancy. If you have gotten a postitive pregnancy test here is what you need to do.IF YOU DO EXPECT YOU DO HAVE AN ECOTOPIC PREGNANCY YOU SHOULD GET LOOKED AT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Possible complications are- Loss of embryo, Infertility and serious cases death this happens when the fallopen tube the embryo is in ruptures from the growing embryo and it can be a very serious risk to your health. -Go to your family doctor or nearest walk in clinic and get a refferal to get a blood test to confirm pregnancy - you should also ask for a refferal for an ultrasound to check how far along you are.***(THRU AN ULTRASOUND THEY CAN DETECT AN ECOTPIC PREGNANCY)*** consider all your options if you are pregnant -keeping the pregnancy -abortion(must be 6 to 8 weeks to have an abortion) In Canada they will not preform abortions after 16 weeks however in the States I believe they will do them up to 21 weeks. I personally do not believe in abortion I'm just trying to inform you to make your own decision. -adoption -once results are in ask your family doctor or doctor you are currently seeing if he can refer you to an obctetrician (get on thiss there is a huge baby boom right now and if you want a doctor with you thru out your pregnancy to monitor you and your baby there can be long waiting lists depending on your location) hope this is helpful best of luck
Are major stomach pains off and on a sign of pregnancy?
No, not really. You could have gas or have ate something that did not agree with you. Plenty of women I know that have children and when they were pregnant they said that their stomachs did not hurt but their breasts did.
Yes it can hurt, some women tend to have lower abdominal pains during their first few weeks of pregnancy and it is normal as it is goes hand in hand with breast pains too.

How long after having a baby does the hcg pregnancy hormone stay in your system?
The maximum HCG is reached between 9 and 10 weeks and then falls until 18 weeks when it remains level until the end of pregnancy. It then starts falling as soon as the placenta is delivered. I am not certain, but I believe it is negligible after 3 days.

How severe is the pain of a tubal pregnancy?
Yes it is for the first 6 weeks I had mine done in August 2009, I paid £3,500 for all the treatment which was good, you will not be able to walk or lift anything but they give you plenty of pain killers to fall pregnant it is worth the pain
I have not fallen pregnant yet and it is January 2010, but we was told it could take 6 months so fingers crossed it happens soon XxX good luck in whatever you decide !!
Some data suggests that approximately 1 in 2000 tubal ligations may spontaneously reverse. More precisely described, sometimes the cut and closed (cauterized and or sutured) fallopian tube tissue ends aren't closed enough to stop the familiar path of a teeny, tiny, tenacious ovum or egg that follows a chemical trail to the uterin area during ovulation. If fertilization is facilitated in this unusual but possible scenario then (tubal ligation or not) pregnancy is certainly a potential outcome. Matthew David Black existencebeyondperception@msn.com
If the tubes were "banded" and not cut/burnt, the bands can loosen, opening the fallopian tube. This is pretty rare, and the likelihood of this happening depends on the material used.
You can't.
Can you get depo provera if you had your tubes tied?
Yes you can! I just started taking it, I have had my tubes tied since I was 24 yrs. old. I have really awful periods, and when I am not on my period my breast hurt nonstop! I was down to two options, having already had the nova sure procedure which didn't work for me, actually made it worse.. Anyway, I started the shot Oct. 5th of this year and after the first two weeks, I suddenly realized my breast didn't hurt anymore, or weren't knotty anymore and the period part I don't really know yet, hasn't been long enough, spotted some off and on but they said I probably would. But anyway, hopefully it's gonna help, because my other option was hysterectomy!! I really don't want to do that if I can help it. That is major! Anyway, good luck, hope you get this! Michelle
What are the symptoms of pregnancy after tubes are clamped?
This is called an ectopic pregnancy. Symptoms include intense abdominal pain and the urge to move one's bowels. Nausea, disorientation and fever may also occur. These symptoms are similar to those of other conditions, and anyone who suspects a tubal pregnancy is encouraged to get medical attention immediately. An ectopic pregnancy is a serious matter, as it can cause a fatal infection if not treated soon after symptoms develop.
Personally i don't think it's possible to carry a baby successfully in your tube, that would be an etopic pregnancy and if left untreated it can be dangerous. my sister was three months when she lost the baby cuz it was in her tube and the doctor said there is no way that would be possible the baby needsa utuerus to grow the tubes isn't just gonna do it..hope that helps! I have had my tubal done now 16 years an i think im pregnant..im just to afraid to find out currently im awaiting my reaults,,i will keep you posted best of luck!!!
AnswerHello there! I have heard of many women who get pregnant and have the baby healthy after having a tubal ligation. I think the failure rate is a little higher than the doctors say. But hey what do I know? lol....I'm not a doctor. I had a tubal(cut and burned)6 years ago and 2 months ago I did get pregnant....I did end up miscarrying...but the whole thing is the sperm met the egg and made it to my uterus which would not have happened if the tubes was blocked as it is supposed to be. So I am not convinced that a tubal ligation is as effective as they say. Hope this adds a little food for thought. Thanks...LisaCan ear pain be a possible symptom of pregnancy?
Every answer I've seen online says no, but from experience, I say yes! I never got an ear infection in my entire life until I was pregnant with my son. During that time I had not 1, but 4! They would alternate ears. I took antibiotics for the prescribed amount of time, the same time every day, and sure enough a few months later, I had another ear infection! After giving birth, I never had another one! Now, 2 years later, I have one. Surprise! Last month my husband and I were trying. So we will see! I will test in a couple of days. Anyway, I guess I am saying that yes, I believe you can get ear pain/ infections from pregnancy. If you look online it talks about increased mucous, swelling tissues in your nose, ears, etc... with all that going on, fluid can become easily trapped causing pain/infection. Hope this helps!
How can you tell if you have a tubal pregnancy?
Unless the guy has bionic sperm or something, it is not possible to get pregnant with your tubes tied.
Actually you are completely wrong with with your diagnosis. You can get pregnant if your tubes are tied and it's called an Ectopic pregnancy.
Can you have a healthy pregnancy if you have had a tubal ligation?
Allow me to answer from experience....YES IT CAN. The chance is very small, from what I've read in the 1-2% range, but I myself am a child of pregnancy after tubal ligation. My mother had her tubes tied TWICE. After my brother was born she had a tubal ligation. Six years later she found herself pregnant with me. Upon having her tubes cut and burned further, the doctor said he had no idea how that could happen as everything looked still separated. Of course, you have to take the chances into the proper context; HIGHLY UNLIKELY, but entirely possible.
