Why do moral eels hide among the corals?
First, I think you meant moray eels (sorry I had to point that out). There are many reasons why moray eels hide in corals. The main reason is because that's their hunting style. They hide in between crevices until a prey swims by and the eel ambush it, getting it's meal. Also another reason is because moray eels are often nocturnal predators, so they rest in the crevices of corals to rest.

Can a gulper eel swallow a human?
Gulper eels can and will eat fish larger than themselves, but there is no way a gulper eel could swallow a human being, as they can only grow to be a metre long. one species that's 5 1/4 ft long is exceptional cause my friend caught one, unhooked it, and the eel closed its mouth, trapping her in its maw and almost swallowed her whole.
Eels generally stay in shallow areas of the ocean, burrowing into the sand or mud or even in rocks and coral. Some species exist at depths of over 10,000 feet, and most species will return to deeper waters in order to breed.
