How do you conquer a city in evony?
If you are a new player I recommend conquering a lvl 1 or 2 flat. For that you get about 1000 warriors 1 hero and 200 swordsmen to guarennte victory. ( Remember to scout the flat first ). Then you go to Map on the top right of the screen and click on a lvl 1 or 2 flat. then you click attack and enter what amount of troops you want to send then click attack again. Then wait for the reports saying if you conquered the flat or not. For scouting get 50 scouts and click scout instead of attack.

How do you get the taxation on evony?
The taxation menu is in the town hall. Click on the "tax rate" button in there.
At 0% tax, you will eventually have 100% of your max population in the city. At 100% tax, they will all gradually move out. At 50%, your cottages will balance at half full, and bring in the max gold (.5 * .5 = .25) that you can get without actively adjusting things with blessings. The reason this is max is that if you have more the result drops. If you have 60% tax rate, you will end up with 40% of your max population, and .60 * .40 = .24 (less that the .25 for 50% tax). If you have the 20% tax rate that the game points you to having, the result is .20 * .80 = .16.
Understand that getting gold is not the be all - end all of the game. If you have enough gold, set the tax rate at 0% and pack in the citizens to make more in the fields, or to put more soldiers in your army.
How do you get troops on evony?
You build barracks and then you can recruit troops. The different troops require different technologies (from academies) and different barrack levels.
Evony was originally called Civony and was released just over a month ago.
You make an account and read the different quests. Also, you've got to make buildings, and make troops. Gain prestige by building stuff, and lose it by losing a city to somebody or losing an army. Gain honor by losing little troops in an attack; lose it by doing the opposite.
In evony what type of troop is effective against swordsmen?
No troop is specially for swordsmen but I find ballistas to be a good unit to kill anything.
How do you get Rose medals in Evony?
To get Rose Medals you can either:
1. Attack any level 3 valley with 200 archers.
2. Attack any level 2 valley with 100 archers.
3. Attack any level 1 valley with 50 archers.
4. Attack any level 4 valley with 400 archers.
5. Attack any level 1 NPC with 50 ballistae.
This is in order of which one you have a better chance of getting a rose medal, so if you attack a lvl 3 valley with 200 archers that will be a better chance of getting a rose medal than attacking a lvl 1 NPC (An NPC is a Barbarian city that is played by the evony system so nobody really controls it) with 50 ballistae.

How do you restart your game on evony free forever?
There is a space in your description icon to restart the game. You click on your "picture" in the upper right hand corner, and this item is available. They remind you that it wipes everything you've done, so be very sure that you want to do that.
