Where does the water go in a Fiat brava?

In a Fiat Brava, water from rain or washing typically drains through designated channels and is directed away from critical components to prevent damage. It flows through the vehicle's drainage system, which includes pathways in the body and undercarriage. Any excess water that accumulates inside, such as in the cabin, should ideally exit through drain holes located in the floor and door sills. Regular maintenance of these drainage systems is essential to avoid water buildup and related issues.

How do you bypass the immobilizer on a Fiat brava?

Bypassing the immobilizer on a Fiat Brava typically involves using specialized equipment to reprogram the vehicle's ECU or key fob. This process often requires knowledge of the vehicle's wiring and systems, as well as access to diagnostic tools. It's important to note that tampering with the immobilizer can be illegal and may void warranties, so it’s advisable to consult a professional locksmith or technician for assistance. Always prioritize legal and ethical methods when dealing with vehicle security systems.

What is the correct tire pressure for a fiat brava?

The real answer depends on two factors.

1) do you have the "factory" tire size/specification installed?

2) how do you drive?

This site gives all Fiat Brava tire pressures for "normal" and "loaded/speed" driving. This assumes you are using "factory" size/type tires. - http://www.thetyrepressuremonitor.com/tyrepressures_fiat.html

If you have installed different rims or have different sized tires then the pressure needs will alter slightly.

You should never go below 32 psi on this car. Higher may be better depending on driving conditions, tire wear and driving style. Many tire dealers reccoment the maximum sidewall pressure (printed on the tire) be used for best fuel mileage.

While true, it can lead to wearing the tires out too quickly in the center portion of the tread, costing you more to replace the tires more quickly (and the car may ride noticeably rougher!).

How do you remove Fiat brava ignition barrel?

The appropriate way to remove Brava ignition barrel is to start by removing the ignition cowling. The housing is held in place by three screws located on the underside of the cowling. Remove the three screws and the plastic cowling. 2. You now have the ignition barrel holder exposed which is a long plastic cylinder running across the underside of the steering column. Looking at the underside of the cylinder you will see a small cut out in the cylinder. If you look in this cut out you will see a metal lug protruding into the cut out from the inside of the cylinder. Using a flat bladed screwdriver try pushing the lug towards the centre of the cylinder. If it moves inwards move to step 3. If it does not move turn the key in the ignition barrel and then retry pushing the metal lug inwards. 3. With the metal lug pushed in lever the ignition barrel out. The barrel should slide out easily. 4. If you are replacing the barrel with a second hand one please bear in mind that your ignition system will still require the transponder located in the key from the original ignition barrel. There are two ways of overcoming this the first is to strap the original key towards the outer edge of the ignition barrel either using electrical tape or a tie wrap. The second method is to obtain a transponder key with replacement barrel and remove the transponder out of this key and replace it with the transponder from your original key. The transponder looks like a black piece of metal which is wedge shaped. It is quite small and be careful not to drop it when taking the keys apart.

How do you open the bonnet of a fiat brava elx when the latch is broke?

There should be a cable hanging down from where the latch was. Just grip with a pair of pliers and give it a gentle pull. You will hear a click and then you can release and go to the front of the car and open the bonnet.

If the level is slack - it points to a snapped bonnet release cable.

To open the bonnet in this situation (on a Fiat Punto), you'll need to get under the car.

I jacked up the car, placed it on a stand on the passenger side, and reached up underneath. I've videoed it - quick to do once you see it.

the high level brake light strip is an array of light emitting diodes. if one or more have stopped working then you will need to get a soldering iron to them and remove them from the PCB. its far less aggro to buy a replacement from an on-line breaker as a replacement LED installed the wrong way around won't produce light.
