No. When your computer goes in sleep mode, all components that are unnecessary for its operation, such as a graphic card or a network card, are turned off, excluding the RAM. If you want to download a torrent over a long period of time, either pause it and resume it later or turn off the display and leave it on overnight, making sure it will not overheat.

Why isn't there one universal file format?
Because software writers want you to use their product. In other words, Microsoft Word uses a DOC extension. Most other products can't use that type format. It's a money making thing. If every product used the same format, not many people would buy the expensive programs.

When on Frostwire start-up if it says a firewall is blocking Frostwire then click un-block. Try configuring the firewall options, also. If your connection status is working (bottom left corner) then you shouldn't be behind a firewall.

Well, it's not good. I've actually never used lime wire, but my sister has. We ended up with a huge virus on our computer. We actually ended up getting a new computer, let's just say the song's are great to get and sure there free and easy. But there actually not all that good quality and of course they are illegal. Well, if you are a user of limewire or frostwire then you should get shareaza. But these progams have a P2p sharing system. This means everytime you download from the program you are making a copy of another users oringinal file.so ur pretty much sharing all your files to users.Careful what you choose though because it may contain a Trojan or vius.
