The bait I use is a salmon egg(its a powerbait inside a plastic jar). I use orange eggs because I get the best luck with them. Some tips with using the fake eggs is molding them into a round ball around the eye of the hook( prefurabley a small hook). Try that out I have caught many Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout in the Chatohochee river using this. Hope it helped!

Then go to a bait and tackle store and buy a bubble box.(they cost about $10 and take 2 d batteries to work)After you get this you need to somehow attach the box to the side of the bucket and then put the blue ball that is attached to the box by a hose in the water and turn it on this will create oxygen in the water so the minnows can breath.
