What are some advantages disadvantages of ngo?
i am red cross member, I've been into this organization for 2 years and i think time came to quit .i don't know if I'm ready for this decision, but i know that red cross took a lot from me. Being a volunteer in this NGO took time from me.It took away many activities that i wanted to share with my family and friends..i sacrificed a lot ..making these sacrifices at an early age, making lots of friendships ,making this big commitment and meeting my ex-bf there and then another boy and other boy who soon expressed their crush on me....the whole situation became very broad,it seemed that red cross became my life, maybe i didn't know how to make the balance between red cross and my life.
I don't and can't ignore the advantages of red cross and its beautiful impact on me; however looking back at my last year events made me think twice about my choices..i paid the price,i've been into depression,i was at the point of failing my class....all that beacuse i made red cross my priority,i reached a point where i offered red cross more than it was offering me,i was giving more than i was recieving,i was so attached to it.
my parents,my sisters and couselor blamed red cross, but i wasent able to see it that way..maybe till now im nt able to do soo,but i cant wait any longer...i cant postpon my priorities ,i cant sacrifice my time,i have to act,im in my final year at high school ,i made a progress but i am more aware of my choices...i want to have the courage of quiting red cross and not looking back and rehgretting,i want to be able of telling my experience....i still want to spread my message,a message of peace to my community..but i want to make it in another way, another manner ....

How long does it take to earn a bachelor's degree in forestry?
A bachelor's degree in most areas can require between 124 to 128 college credits particular to a specific program of study. This would be based on a college or university that operates on a regular two semester academic year which is the most common. For institutions that operate on a tri-semester or quarter-semester it would be quite different. That being said, the Bachelor's degree - in most cases - is designed as a four year program of study, provided the student is full-time and follows their chosen program of study as prescribed by the college or university, and also provided the individual does not require prerequisite or developmental coursework as a result of basic skills testing.. The minimum credit load for a full-time student is no less than 12 credits per semester. However, to complete the degree within the four years, a credit load of approximately 15 to 18 credits is recommended. For individuals who work or who have other responsibilities that would prohibit them from attending full-time, completion of the degree may take twice as long. Still, some of this time can be cut down by attending summer sessions and/or interim sessions. In addition, the bachelors and associate degrees are referred to as undergraduate degrees while the Masters and Doctorate degrees referred to as graduate degrees.
